Today...this day...nothing good came out of it for Rhys. The poor guy was buried up to his neck in work. The work was either pointless and helped no one at all, or it was a two or more person job that he had to do by himself. Fun... All because his boss, Vasquez, enjoys watching Rhys suffer. He never let up on Rhys, not even for a moment. Vasquez tells Rhys that he is harsh on him to make him stronger, but Rhys knows better than to believe that hair implant wearing son-of-a-bitch.

Example, one day Rhys was insanely sick. He was incredibly contagious and he really didn't feel like vomiting on everyone. So, he did what any normal sick person would do and called in to tell Vasquez he would not be able to make it to work that day. Instead, fuck face himself had other plans. Rhys was forced to go to work and make it on time while also strapping a bag to his mouth so there wouldn't be a mess.

A quiet sigh passed Rhys's lips as he glanced up at the digital clock that hung lazily on the wall next to his work station. The faintest of smiles formed on the tired male's lips seeing how it was nearing lunch time. Aahh lunch time, the one time of day Rhys doesn't completely hate. He used to love lunch until he was transferred out of Vaughn and Yvette's lunch a few months back. Probably from Assquez's doing. However, he doesn't hate it. He gets to eat peacefully by himself at least. He can sit down, eat his lunch and collect his thoughts, until some jackass decides to disturb him.

Today, on the other hand, Rhys had other plans for lunch. Ya see, Rhys has been pretty good friends with the CEO of the Hyperion corporation,Handsome Jack for quite a bit of time. At first, Rhys was only being a kiss-ass to the big guy, but then Jack started to grow on Rhys. He had the sneaking suspicion that he started to grow on Jack as well. He noticed Jack's attitude was different towards him now than before. Though he was buddy buddy with the CEO, Jack still intimidates the shit out of Rhys for more reasons than one. Thus why Rhys was slightly panicking about his little lunch plan. His plan for today was to have his lunch with Jack and maybe they could just relax and talk about their day. They usually hang out after work and chat on some days but only on days Jack wants to ,even is Rhys is busy. He is too afraid to tell Jack 'No.'. However, Rhys felt a bit ballsy and wanted to talk on a day Jack didn't plan.

The sudden alarm on Rhys's wristwatch sounded off, pulling Rhys from his nervous trance. His dark brown eyes glanced at his watch as he pressed a button on the side, turning off the obnoxious alarm. A sudden swarm of his coworkers began to rush out of the rather small area to get to the cafeteria. Why would anyone want to eat the shit food Hyperion provides? It tastes like rotten scag meat that had been vomited on my a Badass Psycho. And that's just the fruit. Rhys watched as the room cleared and he made his way out of the room of stress, making his way to the crowded break room. The break room is basically a room with a mini refrigerator, a microwave, vending machine and a small water tank. Basically the room for people smart enough not to eat Hyperion cooked food. Rhys, on the other hand, persuaded Vaughn into cooking his lunches for him, Rhys agreed to do all of the laundry.

Pushing himself through the crowd, Rhys was able to get to the mini refrigerator without breaking his neck, that's a plus. He managed to open the door and snatch the lunch pack that had his name on in. Once he successful retrieve his meal, he shoved his way back out of said room. He stumbled into the clearance but a near by rail kept him from falling. Rhys let out a short sigh as he brushed himself off once regaining his balance. Once he adjusted his tie, he took a tight grip to his lunch whilst taking a deep breath.

'C'mon, Rhys..you got this.' Rhys thought to himself. 'It's not like he'll shoot you for offering to have lunch with him....will he?' Rhys shook his head of the feared thoughts as he gulped. Rhys took a small step forward, and another one. Soon his pace became more confident as he made his way towards Jack's office. In no time, Rhys was facing the large metal door that separated him and Jack. He began to question his choices. He could always turn back and eat by his lonesome like he usually does. But, Jack could have had a rough day and need someone to talk to. However, if he's having a rough day, Rhys might irritate him. Oh boy. Rhys didn't know what to do. Before he could turn back to go return to the cafeteria, Rhys heard three loud bangs which sounded as if metal hit metal. His eyes turned to the noise and his eyes grew wide. Rhys had knocked on the large door with his prosthetic. Oh shit! On the inside, Rhys was panicking but on the outside.....Rhys was still panicking. He took deep breaths trying to calm down, awaiting to hear the CEO'S commands.
