Joe's POV
I look at myself in the mirror for a final time before spraying myself with my expensive aftershave and running down ny steps and into the dining room.
I light the final candle as I set up the the dinner for Lucy and I tonight. Checking my watch I rush over to the kitchen and reduce my oven where my Lasange is preparing.
I remove my Italian dish from the oven and set it on the table, pouring myself and Lucy glasses of wine to finish serving the meal.
Lucy and I haven't been spending as much time together as we should, as our lives have become chaotic over the last three years; with juggling the kids, our careers, and home life there hasn't been much space to focus on each other.
So I have made this extra effort for the woman I am head over hills in love with, in hopes for us to re-connect and have an evening for just us; no Peppa Pig or Power Rangers, just me and my wife.
I sit at our dining table still awaiting the arrival of Lucy, I grow ever frustrated as my wife is three hours late.
I watch as the candles burn the last of the wax and I blow them out before taking the food that I have prepared into the kitchen; throwing it against the wall in anger.
I storm into my office and grab a pen and paper before scribbling a note and laying it on the shattered oven dish on the floor, walking out of our home and into the cold winter air.
There you have it guys, this is just a taster of what you can expect from Family Portrait, I hope you enjoyed that yurn of events and I hope its got you excited for next Saturday.
Love you forever and I'll see you very soon,
Kasey ❤
