Chapter 2// The First Session

Kaitlyn's POV: As I walked to my locker to grab my book bag and phone. What I like to be focused not distracted by stupid things like Instagram or Twitter. "SANCHEZ!" I heard from behind me. I halted and turned around. "How may I be any assistance to you?" I asked once I saw Jacob. "I need your address." Jacob told me. "122 Haven Creek." I told him. "Okay I'll meet you there at 4:30." He mumbled and pushed past me. I walked out of school and saw my moms car. I ran to her car and quickly got in. "Mom I have to tutor some kid I simply dislike." I told her. "It's fine sweetie, I'm sure you won't mind him after awhile." She said pulling off. "But mom he called me a nerd which I really don't mind, but I knew he meant it to affend me." I said. "Katie you'll be fine." My mom said. "MOM I CAN'T POSSIBLY TEACH HIM SPANISH, ENGLISH, OR MATH." I yelled as I unlocked the door. "If you need food just text me." She told me and disappeared into the kitchen. I ran up to my room and got comfortable. I put on leggings, and an oversized hoodie. I quickly threw my hair up into a messy bun. I walked into my bathroom and just looked in the mirror. I took out my contacts and slid on my glasses. "KATIE, JACOB IS HERE!" My mom yelled. I grabbed my books and walked over to my office. I know what your thinking well she has about almost everything, no my mom didn't want an extra room so I use it as an office. I put my books down and jogged down. "Let's go." I told him gesturing him to follow me. We walked into my office and he sat down in one of my swirly chairs. "What subject first Spanish, math, or English?" I asked him. "Spanish." He said. "Okay." I said and grabbed a pencil. "Okay quick question do you like Oreos?" I asked him. "Yes, what does,this have to do with Spanish?" He questioned while locking my phone. "KATRINA!" I yelled. "What?" She asked walking into the room. "Go get me Oreos." I told her. "Can I have some?" She asked. "Two." I told her. "Okay she giggled and ran downstairs. "Okay study the words we have have for this lesson." l told him. I snatched his phone. "Hey I was texting." He told me. "Study." I commanded. He grabbed the paper and started to mumble profanities under his breath. "here you go." Kat said giving me my Oreos. "Okay." I said. "Jacob what does La Lechuga mean?" I asked. "Lettuce." He said. "El pescado?" I questioned. "I know this one, fuck, shit, fish?" He said with his going higher as he spoke. "Sí, el helado?" I asked. "Ice cream." He said. "Here some Oreos." I said giving him like five. "Gracias."he said biting into on. "But you know that one." I retorted. "Jes ma'am." He said. "Jacob, next it is proper English." I said laughing. "You I know thought you would be a buzzkill, but you fed me so I'm good I guess." He said. "Okay, el boligrafo mean?" I asked. "It means Pen." Jacob with a million dollar smile. "Okay Jacob you officially become tolerable to me." I told him. "Its a Major Key To Success." Jacob said. "Come with me." I said dragging him out of the room into my room. "Okay, don't touch anything, you may go on my swing though." I told him. I tossed our phones on my bed and walked over to my library. "You have your own library?" Jacob asked stepping behind me. "Yes." I told him while I turned around. I slid from being unreasonably close to Jacob. I sat on my swing and just started to swing. "So Nerd I kinda need your number." He said handing me his phone. I typed in my number and my contact name as Nerd🤓📚. "Oh you like the name nerd?" He questioned. "Yes it suits my personality." I told him and went to sit on my bed, soon enough he joined me.

Jacob was using his phone and I was re-reading The Maze Runner for like the third time. My phone starts to ring, but I ignore it. Jacob grabs my phone and answers it. "Kaitlyn Sanchez's phone Jacob Sartorius speaking....Maddie I'm sorry but Kaitlyn is kinda busy reading a book..... I'm offended by this, I do read it's call subtitles for a reason....... Well I'm sorry I don't choose the nerd way...... You know what I won't tell Katie what you need to say.... Ewwww that's my best friend.....bye Maddie." Jacob said hanging up my phone. "What was all that about?" I questioned looking at him. "You friend Maddie is dating Mark." He told me and looked down. "Um Jacob your mom is here." My mom said walking into my room. "Okay bye Nerd." He said with his signature smirk. "See I told he wouldn't be so bad." My mom said. "Oh yea bub it's dinner time." She added and dragged me out of my bed.

I'm just sitting in my bed doing nothing only cause after 9:30 my mom told me no more reading, but little does she know I have Wattpad. So I was reading a book called Fuckboy by das_the_boss ,it's an amazing book so far (pretend it not a Jacob fanfic), When a notification popped up in the banner of my phone Jacob🙇🏻.
Jacob🙇🏻: Hey Nerd😂
Nerd🤓📚: Hey Jacob
Jacob🙇🏻: So tm are we doing the Oreo thing?
Nerd🤓📚: If it helps you learn maybe
Jacob🙇🏻: so tm I would like to do math for my tutoring session
Nerd🤓📚: well i mean i guess
Jacob🙇🏻: Goodnight Nerd🌙

I then reached over to grab my charger and plugged my phone up, my phone made the noise when it's charging. I clapped twice and my lights turned off. I laid back and thought why me, I don't even talk to suck people, why so sweet so innocent Kaitlyn Esmeralda Sanchez, my uncle would never be okay with this. I eventually got sick and tired of thinking so I just fell asleep with not thoughts nor dreams.
