images of forever spending the rest of her life with shark filled her head. oh how she longed to live a happy life with her new found friend. Lilia knew she needed to keep this animal, and had to rescue it from its small prison. how could she pass up such a golden opportunity at true love like this? with thoughts of the shark clouding her judgement she pulled open the lid of the tank. submerging her hand in the icy water, she waved it around until her fingertips brushed against the sharks smooth skin. her fingers wrapped around the tail of her love and pulled it out the water. giving it a quick kiss on the head, she pocketed it in her coat.
only just realizing the trouble she could get in for shark-napping her beloved shark, panic began to set in. she shoved a hand deep into her pocket patting the terrified sharks head, reassuring him that they'd be okay.
swiftly making her way back towards the doors, she peeked her head out, looking for signs of any others surrounding her. once sure it was all clear she began to slip her way through the crowd. leisurely making her way around all the people, unknowing that there was a shark passing them as well.
Lilia breathed a sigh of relief as she closed in on the large entrance she walked through to begin this experience. she was almost in distance to touch the door when she felt a hand close around her upper arm. it spun her around so she was facing whoever the mysterious arm belonged too.
"miss I seem to think you have something that belongs to me. My prized possession in fact" he growled. she looked down at his clip on tag that read "owner" and began to worry. how did he find out I took the shark? slowly she began to pull her arm away from the owner and back up.
"you know haha I don't think so um okay bye". Lilia sped off in the opposite direction not daring to look back.
realizing her mistake likia began to slow down. what did I do? I just ran off, away from the only exit I know about. she slowed down her running into a slow pace. what am I supposed to do know? hope for escaping was dwindling down and she almost wanted to give up and return her newfound shark when she spotted something that looked like a door. moving towards it she realized she had been right. it was a door, the only problem, there was a security guard blocking it.
with quick thinking and no good ideas she made her way up to him. his eyes followed her until she was standing directly in front of him. this idea is terrible but I really hope it works.
"um hi" she squeaked out "I uh- a shark escaped. I mean I think a shark somehow got out of its tank and uh- the um.. the- Oh the owner needs you. he said so."
the security guard paused for a minute staring blankly at me. he clearly didn't believe a thing I said. I least I tried. I can't believe I already have to say goodbye to-
*pretend this is a shark noise idk what a shark sounds like*
what was that? it couldn't be? that was my shark? Lilia opened her cost a tiny bit to reveal her shark distressed in no way. she couldn't believe it, he helped her. it made that noise so the guard would believe her story.
processing what had just happened the guard quickly darted from the door towards the center of the aquarium to try and find the cause of that noise. Lilia smirked to herself and pushed open the exit. hopping down the steps she made her way into the parking lot and into her car.
once seated in her car she removed the shark from her coat. holding him in her hands so pecked him on the fin and placed him it the seat next to her. oh how happy she was to finally be free with her love, the one and only shark.
