One lucky girl

Chapter One

Walking into the room where we were requested to meet I glance up from my iPad and I see my coach, a few of my professors, the president of the university, and A & E from Once Upon A Time. I pause what I was watching and check on my dog, Riversong, to make sure she is still calm and next to me. I hobble, I sprained my ankle and have on a half-boot brace, over to the sign in table. I sign in and go over to the table and pull out my chair and sit down. I prop my ankle up on the chair next me. Luckily the chairs are big so I pat my lap for my dog to sit in.

After River gets comfortable I set my iPad on her back and play the episode and settle in to finish the episode. It's getting to the really intense part where Jane is running to save Maura and Jane is just turning the corner when I hear my name yelled out. "MIA!" I jump up in my seat and pause my episode and put the iPad on the table and River pops her head up and quirks her ears. I look around and see my Aunt Bex.

"Aunt Bex!!"

I help River get off my lap and carefully put my foot off of the chair and hobble over to her. When I get to her I wrap my arms around her and lay my head on her chest. She wraps one arm around my back and she uses the other hand to cradle the back of my head. When we back awake she grabs my hands and looks me over and see's my ankle books and says, "What did you do to your ankle?"

"Well you see I sorta fell while walking and sprained my ankle." I responded while looking down and blushing.

"Were you walking on a rough surface or ?"

"No, I was walking through my hallway. On a flat surface."

"Oh darling." She chuckles and wraps her arm around my shoulder. "I leave you alone for a few months and you sprain your ankle walking over a flat surface."

As she finishes saying that I hear more people chuckling I look around and see Lana and Jennifer chuckling. I grumble and nudge River and go back to our seats. River jumps in my lap and I wrap my arms around her neck and bury my head into her fur.

"Oh don't be embarrassed darling, it all happens to us," my aunt replies while walking over and sitting next to me. She pulls my chair right next to hers. 

At this point I see other students from some of my classes come it and get momentarily stunned by the actors and actresses here. After everyone find a seat around the table the president of the university stands up and starts talking.

*Hello all! This is my second fanfiction I've posted. I have a Carol fanfic over on AO3. Let my know if there is any interest with this!! I know this part was very short, but I'll probably update again in a few days with a longer chapter. The picture with this chapter is a picture of the dog that Mia has. I do actually have a King Shepard puppy named Riversong; she is 4 months old. Let me know if you see any mistakes or if you have any ideas for this story. I generally can come up with ideas but if you leave one here and I like it and use it, of course I would give you credit!! Until later!! Xx
