Carrie! I screamed at my daughter as she ran toward the giant. No!!! I screamed at her once more. Percy was trying to get Carrie away from the giant. "I'm coming Carrie!" Percy yelled. He started yelling, water erupt from the nearby lake and washed Carrie away from the giant.
I can remember the day Carrie was born.
FLASHBACK
AAAAGGHHH! I screamed as I felt a sharp pain in my abdomen. Percy! Get your butt up! Percy sat up so fast he hit his head on the top bunk. "Annabeth, what's wrong?" Percy asked with a worried look. My water just broke! I said. "Oh! Wait, the baby is coming?!" Percy asked. YES! I screamed at him. He picked me up and carried me bridal style to the big house. Chiron and four Apollo campers came in. After 7 hours of labor and punching Percy, our little Carrie was in the world. She is so beautiful. I said. Yes she is. Replied Percy. We took her home the next day. It is hard to believe that was 11 years ago.
END OF FLASHBACK
I watched as the giant stabbed Percy in the stomach. He collapsed. I watched helplessly. NO! I screamed. I turned as Carrie stabbed the giant. When she stabbed him, the giant roared in pain. He stabbed Carrie then smacked her. She went flying across the room. I heard a spine-tingling crack as Carrie hit the pillar. CARRIE! I screamed. My bonds broke, I ran towards her. She looked at me with those sea green eyes. Same as Percy's. Carrie. Talk to me. I said. I will see you in Elysium momma. Carrie said. No no no. Carrie stay alive. I love you momma. With that, her eyes closed, her head lolled over. Carrie? Carrie?!CARRIE! NO! My baby. No no no. I started bawling. Oh my gods. I forgot about Percy. I ran over to him. Percy?! Don't be dead please. He reached up and touched my face. He grabbed my hand. I love you. He said. His grip on my hand slackened. No. No no no. This can't be happening! I just lost my daughter and my husband of 12 years. I went and carried my daughter to the car. Then I went and got Percy. Three hours later, I arrived at camp sobbing. Everyone crowded around me. I pointed to the car. Chiron, Grover and Clarisse ran to it. They came back carrying Carrie and Percys limp bodies. Everyone gasped. They started scrying. That night, we made their shrouds. Percy's was a sea blue with tridents and swords. Carries was a gray blue with tridents and owls. I watched them burn. I couldn't take anymore, so I ran back to Percy's cabin. I changed and cried myself to sleep. The next morning I woke up and said good morning Perce. Then it all came flooding back to me. He was gone. So was my daughter. I won't ever forget them. I will see them in Elysium one day. One day.
