MikaelaBender is the author of many books, including Expiration Date/ Expired, which is a wonderful Sci-Fi book, and it even has a love triangle.

Expiration Date is about Iris Levine, who is nineteen and is supposed to expire on 08-10-14, until a stranger saves her from a robber.

After that experience, she learns nothing from the man for the weeks while they hide out in a bunker

Iris Levine then struggles with trying to survive in Society, where you die on the date your Mark says.

Once you're born, you're given a Mark; the day you're supposed to die on, unless you're like Iris defying rules, or like another important character.
