I cheered throwing my hands up in the air as the buzzer sounded. Doncaster had won and the gorgeous Liam Wakefield was grinning ear to ear as he whirled his home jersey above his head. The thirteen year old in me shrieked as his abs glistened with hard earned sweat.
A stout announcer man walked out into the middle of the field wearing a big smile.
"Ladies and gentlemen, now would be the time to make your way down to the field if you got meet and great passes! If not thank you for joining us at today's Bluebell Wood children's hospice charity football match. I'm proud to announce we raised $500 000!", he exclaimed and the crowd roared.
One player was smiling harder and brighter than the rest. Number 28, Tomlinson. I had heard about this guy on the radio, he was part of the world famous boyband. From what I've heard he was a great singer, a sassy guy and had a great bum." He really does have a great bum", I grinned as I stood up and made my way down to the field. I'd come to any home games of the Doncaster Rovers games I could as long as I could remember. Thinking back there was this one boy here who I thought was super cute when I came here with my brother as a highschooler. He had sold hotdogs and such at the games. Sometimes I would catch him sitting and watching the game opposed to selling stuff. I had always wanted to say something to him because he looked my age. But alas I was a shy teenager and never got up the cour-
"Excuse me miss", a low voice interrupted me.
"Uh what?", I almost snarled as I looked up. Oh, and that's definitely the Rob Jones. Team captain of my favourite football team.
"Oh I'm so sorry", I stuttered blushing," I zoned out and and"
"Hey love it's fine", he grinned slinging an arm around my shoulder before continuing," so lets be honest. Are you a long term fan or just here for the tommo?"
My face distorted in confusion. Here for the ... Oh
"Oh haha nope. Been coming to watch you guys for as long as I can remember. Pop stars ain't got nothing on me", I winked and strutted away feeling accomplished hearing Rob laugh in the background.
My eyes fanned the field as I observed the scene around me. There was probably a group of fifteen 15-20 years were surrounding Tomlinson . My eyes rolled in my head before they scanned the field for my baby. Liam freaking Wakefield. He was right before my eyes, tall , tan and gorgeous.
"Hello love, how are you?", Liam grinned his eyes twinkling as he scanned me.
"I - I . You're , I'm", I stuttered like a starstruck fangirl. Hell I was a starstruck fangirl. I quickly looked over his shoulder to compose myself and caught Tomlinson staring at me amused. " aha sorry I'm great. The game was good. How are you?"
I swelled on the inside, pretty proud of the recovery I had made.
"I'm alright. Little better because we just won and because I'm talking to one of the prettiest gingers I've ever met.", he replied smoothly .
"Well it just so happens that that ginger thinks you're kinda super hot. That's coming from said gingers 13 year old self.", I replied. And he laughed. His laugh was adorable, a sound of pure pleasure. His head was thrown back , mouth wide open. When he looked back at me his eyes were twinkling , " you're cute...", his voice trailed questionably .
"Oh haha my name is ember. And you're Liam , sorry but can I get a picture?", I asked pulling out my iPhone hopefully.
Liam grinned and called over somebody to take a picture , I handed the person my phone without looking up before I walked over to Liam.
"Alright 1, 2-3 cheeeese", Tomlinson said before taking the photo.
"Now a selfie of the two of us!", he screeched running over and taking a picture of us.
I giggled as he ran away, before realizing he took my phone was running back across the field.
"I'll be one second", I said turning from Liam as I took off my heels. The dry grass crinkling between my toes.
"TOMLINSON!", I screeched as I took off after him.
