『Chapter 3』

The number one hero, All Might. Age Unknown, Quirk unidentified. He dashed into the scene of the hero world and received unwavering popularity based on his ability. Ever since he appeared, the once critically high rate of crimes committed by villains decreased year after year, and his existence itself became a deterrent. He became the Symbol of Peace in both name and reality.

"You can become a hero." All Might told Izuku and he clutched his chest and cried, soaking your uniform. All the horrible things everyone said went through his head.

"Huh? Midoriya? No way!"

"You're Quirkless! How can you even stand in the same ring as me?"

"You should probably give it up."

"I'm sorry, Izuku!"

"I wanted someone to tell me that. And then, the person I most admired and the person who always stood up for me said those words to me. Can anything be more shocking than this? More than this...?"

"You are worthy to inherit my power." All Might said. Both you and Izuku looked at All Might with a curious look. "Huh?"

"Inherit your power?" Izuku asked All Might. All Might let out a loud laugh. "What's with that look on your faces?" He asked with a smile. "It's just a suggestion. The real show starts after this." All Might said as he walked closer to you and Izuku. "Listen, young man. You need to decide whether or not you will accost my power!" All Might said with determination while spitting out blood and pointed at Izuku. He quickly wiped off the blood off his mouth.

"In talking about my power, young man." All Might started off, you and Izuku let out a small gasp. "The tabloids called it "Superhuman Strength" and a "boost," and I constantly dodged the question during interviews with a funny joke. Because the Symbol of Peace, All Might, had to be a natural born hero. But kids, I will tell you the truth." All might explained, he paused and spread his arms wide open. "My Quirk was passed on to me like a sacred torch." You and Izuku stared at him in disbelief. "It was passed on to you...?" Izuku asked quietly. "That's right. And next, it is your turn young man."

"W-Wait! Wait a minute! It's true your Quirk is something hotly debated as one of the worlds greatest mysteries. So much so that not a day goes by when I don't see someone talking about it online. But, well, I don't really understand what you mean by inheriting or passing on a Quirk... I've never heard of anything like that before, and it's never ever been conjectured in the debate. Why is that? Is it because since the dawn of history, a Quirk that was never confirmed?" Izuku muttered. You lost track of what he was saying and faced All Might.

"Um, All Might, sir is there really such thing as a Quirk that can transfer one's skill or power to another?" You asked All Might. He stared at you. "Yes, it's quite shocking really but everyone in this world has a unique type of quirk... Kinda like you, you have two Quirks from your parents. Some can control or create ice, or make things float." All Might explained. "I see, I see." You nodded, taking all the information he told you in your brain. "Anyway," All Might faced Izuku, who was still taking all this information in his head. "You always start with denial, huh? Nonsense!"

"Wh..?!"

"I may hide a lot of things, but I don't lie! The power to transfer power... That is the quirk I inherited!" A bright light formed on All Might's palm. "I was crowned with "One for All"!" All Might explained. "One For All...." Izuku said as he stared at the bright light with curiosity. "That's right. One person cultivates the power and passes it onto another person, who also cultivates it and passes it on. It is the crystallisation of power that spins together the voices of those who need help with a courageous heart." All Might explained his power. "Why are you... Why are you giving me something so great?" Izuku asked. "I have been looking for a successor. And then, I thought it would be all right for you to inherit it. You are just a Quirkless hero fanboy, but you were more heroic than anyone else back there!" All Might told Izuku. Izuku gasped, you stood up and smiled at him when his eyes started watering, tears formed on the corners of his eyes. "Never mind! Well, it's up to you, though. What will you do?" All might ask Izuku. Izuku gripped his pants and looked at you. "It's your choice Izuku-san, I'll always support your decision." You said with a smile. Izuku wiped away his tears and stood up. "I'll do it!" He answered with determination. "An immediate reply. That's what I thought you'd say!" All Might looked down, staring at Izuku.
