A/N: Hi!!!!!!!!! Here's my first work in ages. -____________- Hope you like it. :)

-That March 29th-

             Good Friday.

Papunta na ako sa church nang madaanan ko ang pamamahay ng mga de Vega. Aba, my relatives from Makati are home! Nakita ko si Lolo Richard tsaka kumaway sa kanya. "HI LOLO!" Sadyang malakas ang pagbati ko kaya naman ay may iba pang napatingin sakin bukod pa kay lolo. Oh my god! Ang gwapo gwapo niya! Isang matipunong lalaki. Matangkad, maputi, at hindi na niya kailangan pang ngumiti dahil mata palamang niya ay more than enough na. May hawak siyang DSLR at kasalukuyan siyang nagpi-picture nang napatigil siya sa pagsigaw ko and then he looked at me.

Right after the procession sa Good Friday, tumambay muna ako sa church sa may likod ng statue naming family. They could launch away a thousand ships. Then umiwas agad ako ng tingin. Baka obvious nang crush ko siya ano.

Nang maiuwi namin ang statue sa bahay ng pinsan ko, I went home real quick to inform my mum na nakauwi na rin pala ang relatives namin from Makati and of course kasi, I wanted to see that guy again.

I'm a little bit psyched up to see my relatives. I haven't seen them for a long long time and I kinda miss them. My mum had to get ready and I changed my long pants into denim shorts. We reached the de Vega's residence just by strolling down the ironically cold and solid streets of our city. Enthusiastic greetings were given by our relatives and most of them would say "Wow, Priscilla. You're really a lady now." Of course. You won't expect me to be an infant again, would you?

So there were groups everywhere. One for the drunkards, another for the below 10 year olds, a murmuring circle for the oldies and of course, a noisy, YOLO, break-free bond for the teens. I felt shy seeing that my cousins were laughing along with that guy na kanina ko pa aksidenteng nakikita. Okay omg. Close sila. He's someone I've never seen before. Well, he probably is another cousin I've never met. I'm used to that.

I sat on a lonely corner right under the bright street lamp and one of my cousins, Avery, approached me. "Hi gandaaaaa. God you really look different now!" I tried to speak pero she interrupted me. "Anyway, may gustong makipagkilala sa'yo. He's our family friend and he's from Makati." That new face slowly walked towards us and I felt intimidated because...because he looks intimidating. If only you could imagine his smirk. Yes, he smirked and it was very very attractive.

"Ate Priscilla, this is John Salvatorre. Kuya John, ang Ate Priscilla Castillo ko po." he extended his right arm to me and I felt shy at first but the moment I held his hand, the world behind me melted away. My cousins, Avery and Luke smiled devilishly at each other.

"Naku! Luke! Nakita mo ba yong sparks??? Parang may namumuo ah." Okay Avery, too soon for that so shut up. "Ay mag ingat ka nalang Ate Priscilla. Baka biktimahin ka niyan ha. Ikaw kawawa. Bahala ka!" Nag high-five pa sina Luke at Avery.

We all gathered into one corner of the street and told stories about each other. sing that handshake, parang ayoko nang lumayo pa kay John. Parang naka glue na ako sa kanya. Ewan ko ba. I can't help but look at him whenever he talks, he smirks, he laughs. Avery noticed that little "spark" between us and pulled me into the house. She looked pretty cautious. "NO! You CAN'T like him, Priscilla. He's someone you'd never think he'd be. He is different. He is a player." So??? I'm a player too, Avery. And I rolled my eyes. Luke gave me a big wide shirt for me to use so I could sleep more comfortably.

Since I missed the techie days of my life, I insisted on borrowing Luke's laptop and played with random kiddie computer games. As a very demanding older cousin, pinilit ko si John na humiga ng maayos para maging back supporter ko siya nang makapaglaptop ako ng maayos. Si Avery naman ay inutusan kong ipag timpla ako ng kape and she came back with a steaming mug of white coffee. I stood up from the foam and took a sip and when I went back to my old position...I relaized some things changed.

I smell something intoxicating...I feel more comfortable...I feel like someone really cared...I felt heave but calming breaths settle on my shoulders. I turned to look and there was the addiction I just found. Right behind me was John Salvatorre. That night was just incredible. He cuddled with me and we acted like two kids laughing and just having fun being within each other's arms. Avery learned to live with it and just smiled at us but still warned me to be careful that he might hurt me. But he never did and it made me feel contented.
