Chapter 6-Part 1

Love is blind,

Lust is torture,

Passion isn't perfect,

And sins are deadly.

Life is filled with loss,

Of loneliness and pain,

Desires are buried and broken,

To forget all this would be a shame.

Remember the days of laughter,

Smiling when it rains,

Because when life slips away from you,

You'll never see me again.

When Blake leaned in to kiss Leslie's forehead she closed her eyes and let him despite her wishing to pull away. "It's going to be okay," he soothed.

She stuck her tongue out at Blake. "Yeah, well let's just get this over with."

Leslie was forcing back the tears. She had no intention to bond with her wolf at the moment. Bonding with her wolf wasn't at the top of her priorities. Now she was being forced to. At least Blake had convinced her parents that they shouldn't be around for this. He told two them that she was more confortable if it was just the two of them. She had to give that boy some credit. He was a very good liar. Everyone seemed to believe anything that came out of his mouth. Well, she can see past that grin, well on occasion. Blake could even fool her.

They were in a clearing of the woods. Blake was leaning against the tree, watching her closely. He probably thought that she would make a run for it so she could avoid making the bond. Truthfully, she would have tried to make a run except it seemed that Blake knows her better than she thought he did. He confided in her on the way to the woods that he's aware of her favorite hiding places. Most of them they found together when they were kids.

Kneeling on the ground, she contemplated how this was going to work. Leslie had no idea how she was going to bond with her wolf.

Wasn't bonding supposed to be easy to do?

"Blake, err how do I do this?"

"How do you do what?"

"Bond with my wolf?"

Blake sighed. "It's different for everybody. Some people bond because they want to and others they can't control when they bond."

"How did you bond?"

"I wanted to... and so I did."

She sighed. "That doesn't help me at all."

Leslie felt like banging my head against something repeatedly. She despised the fact that she's being forced to bond. Now having no idea how to bond, this is just the icing on the cake for her. Stumped on what to do, she sat on the ground playing with the grass.

Okay, here we go. Let's do some bonding.

Leslie, you can bond now.

Twenty minutes had passed and nothing happened. She wasn't in any sort of pain that would've experienced from bonding with her wolf. Leslie was going to give up. Obviously because she didn't truly want this that it wasn't going anywhere. Blake was leading against the base of a tree; his face was practically glued to his phone. He hadn't looked up in over five minutes, maybe more.

"Blake, maybe we should call it quits."

"You don't want it to happen so it won't."

"Ya think?" She shook her head. "This is a waste of time."
