Jane pulled on her black taylored suit jacket as she stood infront of the mirror. She could see Maura behind her trying to zip up her dress alone but Jane smiled a sad smile and turned to help her.
"Thankyou" Maura whispered quietly as she turned around to look at her wife.
Maura looked at her wife and the dark circles around her eyes. She knew her wife got no sleep when she found out her besfriend had died last month. She lay there awake listening to her wife's silent cry and simple rolled to hug her but nothing soothed the tears.
"Are you okay?" Maura asked quietly as she gently slipped her fingers through Jane's.
Jane closed her eyes for a second then nodded and looked at her wife. Maura smiled sadly and lead her girlfriend to the car waiting outside to take them to the church for a ceremony.

Maura stood there and held Jane close as she watched them lower Barry's body into the wet soil. A single tear escaped her own eye as she watched.
There were over 12 dozen people who showed up to pay their respects. Jane's grip tightned around Maura's hand as she fought back the tears.
Maura couldnt bare to see Jane so upset. It ached her heart, The only time Jane ever seemed herself even a little bit was when Taylor and Archie where in her arm's.
Maura watched and the peopl around Barry's newly dug grave began to part ways then looked at Jane.
"You okay?" She whispered to Jane.
Jane nodded and pulled Maura into a tight hug and kissed her hair.
"Lets go home" Jane said with a sad smile. Maura took Jane's hand and led her to their car then headed home.
Angela decided it would be best to keep Archie and Taylor for a few days until Jane had calmed down a little.
