Going on 2 and half years now with their father gone, it has been tough but they're managing. It was 8:30am Friday morning and they officially missed their bus. The girls were trampling down stairs as they see the yellow school bus cruise by.
"Mom, we missed it again." Adrienne said sighing.
"Really?! You guys need to be more prepared, you can't keep relying on me, I have to be at work in an hour!" Their mother replies frustrated.
"I'm sorry mom." Blair says softly
"Sorry." Adrienne says quietly.As they begin getting into the into the car, they argue over who gets to sit in the front.
"Blair your only 10, your still too young!" Adrienne says.
"Adrianne's right when your 13 like your sister, you can sit in the front." Their mom agrees.
"And besides she'll be able to drive you when your 13 because she'll have her license!"
"Adrienne always gets things first it's not fair!" Blair whines in the back seat.They arrive at Blair's elementary school and Blair and her mom rushes in to get a late slip. Adrienne snaps her friends "missed the bus again....oops😂".
Her mom quickly walks out and heads to the Junior High.They do the same - walk in and get a late slip - as Adrienne heads to get home room her mom yells good bye and I love you. Adrienne immediately whips around, checks her surroundings and whispers I love you too.
