Chapter 27

It took nearly 2 hours to return home, I slept most of the way there niko kept looking down at me as i lay in his arms , i couldn't stop the dread that he wouldn't want me now that i was scarred, most of my body has some type of scaring and to me it looked hideous and just reminded me that i was damaged goods now.
As soon as we arrived back home niko took me to the infirmary to have me checked over, the doctor told me that everything was OK and that I might have a bit of a headache from the effects that the silver had on me as my captors had laced their knives and whips with liquid silver. The doctor told me to rest for a few days then I should be ok . As soon as the doctor left I was engulfed in nico's arms, he carried me upto our room and lay me down on the bed.

Kira's pov :

I was feeling very sad at the moment and scared that Niko would reject me because of the way I now looked, after everything that has happened in the past between us I had come to realise weeks ago just how much I really needed him, all I have to do now is ask him what was going through his mind and what his wolf was thinking. I finally decided to pluck up the courage and ask him.
Niko can I ask you a question, does the way I now look repulse you and are you now going to reject me as I know that the mate of the king should look flawless, I was trembling, waiting for the reply, his whole frame went suddenly rigid and I was fearing the worst. He suddenly was on top of me and growling, he was struggling with his wolf and it sent me into flashbacks of the time I was captured, scared for what might happen, I whimpered and tried to move back as close to the top of the bed as O could get. Niko please don't hurt me I'm sorry, he then realised that he was scaring me and tried to get his wolf under control.

Niko's pov:

Kira it's ok, I'm sorry for scaring you, I just lost control of my wolf when you said that you thought I was repulsed, you forget that you are beautiful to me. It doesn't matter what marks or scars you have I will always love you, that girl you saw me with, she drugged me, I found out that she was working with the Rouge's to try and get to you. Please let's forget about the past it can no longer hurt us, lets just look forward to the future together with our little family.
