🌸 CHAPTER 12 🌺

*Annie's POV*

I smiled at James who was stood at the door, his eyes widened in shock. He grabbed hold of me and hugged me as tightly as he could.

"Your back! Are you okay?! Are you hurt?! What happened?! We need to tell your mum and dad!" He spoke in one big, long breath.

"I'm fine I swear I just needed some space" I spoke softly kissing him on the cheek. "Now do you know where brad is?" I asked

"Yeah he's at your house." James replied.

"Okay do you want to come round to see my mum and dad with me? I just have a feeling they are going to be angry with me but then relieved but then angry again"

"Of course I will Ann, ill just grab my jacket"

"Annie!!!" A voice shrieked

It was James' mum.

"Oh you're safe Hun" she hugged me more tightly than James did.

"Anyway Annie come on let's go bye mum" James said coming down the stairs. We set off to mine. "So how have you been" James asked.

"Good I guess"

"Oh okay"

I sensed awkwardness between us but luckily we were outside of my house.

"James, I'm scared"

"There your parents, they will understand that you needed space"

I nodded and gingerly Turned the handle.

"Hello?" I called out quietly.

I heard some mumbling. "It sounds like Annie, no can't be Annie I'm sure it is"

I saw my family and brad peer around the corner. "Annie" brad smiled. He picked me up and pressed hard against my lips with his.

"Annie! Oh my gosh darling where have you been? We've been worried sick. How could you run away?!? You should of told us" my dad started to raise his voice..."you shouldn't of run away stupid girl. You could if been hurt"

"Dad I needed a break okay!? and I couldn't of told you because I new you would have reacted like this"

"I'm staying at brads tonight"

"Oh no you're not" my mum said.

I quickly ran upstairs to get my clothes then walked out with brad and James. I slammed the door behind me.

"Erm babe sorry but you can't stay at mine tonight the builders are in and it's a mess sorry gorgeous..."

"We'll I'm not going back to my house, not now" I spoke trying to think of something.

"You could stay over at mine?" Said James timidly.

"No way" brad spoke.

"Baby, it's okay ill sleep on the couch and with you remember" I kissed his lips softly. Then we walked out separate ways. Brad to his home and James and I to James'. When we got to his house his mum was delighted with me staying over, she said that she would make a bed on the sofa and I could have her bed.

"It's fine Joanne, I don't mind sleeping on the couch"

"Alrighty suite yourself" she said laughing.

After I had changed into my pj's me and James sat down in the front room.

"Movie night?" James asked grinning.

"Let's do it..." I said my smiling back.

We watched all the screams then Freddie vs Jason. Halfway through Freddie vs Jason I drifted off. But James woke me up 5 minutes later. "Ann you asleep?"

I stayed still, pretending I was sleeping.

"Annie, I know your asleep and all and I wouldn't say this when your awake but I think I'm in love with you. My heart skips a beat every time I see you and I have to catch my breath every time you speak. And I swear that you are my everything and when you ran away, I felt lost and I know you're in love brad but if we could ever be together I promise I would never hurt you or dare let you go."

I tried really hard not to smile or cry. That was the sweetest thing I've ever heard. "Goodnight princess" James kissed my forehead then, went to bed upstairs.
