Chapter 4: Love Trap

" Devan! Please, forgive me. It was like... like I was hypnotized. That wasn't me a few minutes ago." She didn't know what else to say, so she immediately spoke the thoughts that came to her before he disappeared from her forever. "I don't want to be alone, this place is weird, and freaky, lonely, and dangerous. Plus, I love you. And you know it.

Devan stopped and looked at her in the eyes, "You love me? Listen I don't want to be alone either, and no matter what I will always be willing to protect you, but how can I even trust you any more?" Devan said, he smiled tired.

Emerly looked at Devan and went up to him, and asked, "Do love me?" They were less than a millimeter away from each other. Devan smiled, and went for Emerly's lips. He slowly bent toward her kissed her softly on her lips. His lips were smooth and loving. Emerly felt the warmth of his tongue in her mouth, as their kiss deepened. "Yes, I do love you." Devan said breathing the words onto Emerly's lips.

Emerly took ahold of Devan's hand, and

they started walking slowly into the warmth of the sun, looking for a place to go.

The in-love couple had no idea that their was a such thing as the love police. She and Devan fell in love while dead therefore the police would come and get her and her boyfriend. Love was a crime in this otherworldly place...

"Devan?"Emerly asked.

"Yeah?"

"I feel funny."

"Hey, me too. It's like... like i'm falling."

"Look! I think I see a way out!"

Devan and Emerly ran towards this light, not only because they wanted to get out of the sun, but because they started to hear sirens, it sounded like... police sirens?!

"Run faster! Devan yelled. They ran faster and faster.

Suddenly, "Aaaaaaaaa!" Emerly opened up her eyes in her very own bed. "I'm home?" Emerly asked.

"No, not at all, you are in your cell." A man in a black suit said, "You fell in love, that's a crime here. You must be new."

"What the hell does that mean!" Emerly yelled sounding like a goddess's powerful booming voice.
