Alex's P.O.V
It was Thursday afternoon and school had just let out. I was walking out the door quite calmly only to be rammed into by my best friend Sam. She was extremely excited about something I had promised to take her and her little sister to. I wasn't thrilled about a new high tech microscope but she was bouncing off the walls. It was pretty neat how it took the smallest of things and made them huge
~back on the story~
I was just rammed into by a bubbly Sam. She stood up signaling me to do the same. When we got up and walked out the door she started her daily rant about school food being unhealthy and weird while I tuned out and into my own thoughts...slanted words will be her thoughts
What is Sam even talking about any more. First it was bad food now somehow we got to the topic of her annoying younger sister susan she was ranting on about how he would always borrow her stuff like shampoo and even stupider things like hair bows and stuff
I was snapped out of my thoughts by a loud "BANG!" We brushed it off as nothing and kept going but only seconds later an even louder noise was heard "CRASH!!" I looked at Sam for advice but she seemed to do the same I panicked and ran. She followed my action and we jet towards my house and ran through the door without looking back and locked the door dash up stairs and hid in my closet. My mother seemed to have heard the slam of the front door and and asked what was going on ,but all I could think about was that sound. Little did we know those noises could have saved us a hole lot of trouble.
