Anna was a young girl when her mother died she was only 8 her mother was 39 when she passed, her father spent most of his days drunk but when sober which was rarely he was bearable . It had been 6 years since her mother died Anna grew up early she had a younger brother Charlie he was 6 at the time, her father was unreliable and abusive to Anna. She would always take the hits for Charlie. Anna was 14 now she had job, but the pay was awful her and Charlie lived in a small apartment with barley any food.
Charlie was 12 now he understood why they had left their dad and why Anna always let Charlie eat first she took care of him. The food they got was left overs and what Anna could steel from her job. Charlie was in middle school but knew when he was old enough for a job he'd have to get one, that saddened him he loved learning. Family friends tried reaching out them, but Anna didn't want a pity a party she wanted her mom, her old life back. Her mom had taught her some of her most valuable skills she taught her how sew. Anna remembered the day she was excited even though she had poked herself with pins and needles the first time she tried she still couldn't stop the excitement. When they left Anna took all the sewing kits and material with her. Anna wanted to be many things a fashion designer and business owner but she knew her dreams were well, dreams.
