Okay first off I know that the only other thing that I have posted on here is basically the same except for some changes about the main character but listen to me first. I had already written this before that contest from StarHuntress came out and I thought that this story would be perfect to enter if I just tweaked a few details around. I've been meaning to post this but anyy who, here it is. A nice little short story that I've created about Niall and Aurora so yeah... Immature - Niall Horan One Shot

After she finally agreed to go out with me and the fans started to accept that I wasn't single anymore, they fell in love with her just as I did all of those years ago. We had continued that prank war because of the way it had helped us bond over the years and when the fans realized that, they demanded we started a YouTube channel to share each and every prank we pulled.

After Aurora protested for ages because she didn't want to share even more of her personal life with the public she finally decided that this would be the most efficient way to embarrass me in front of millions of people.

So far there have been videos on our channel, RoryvsNiall, - she demanded that her name came first - of her eating jalapeño flavoured chocolate chip cookies, me waking up to a snake perched on the pillow opposite me and lots of clips of each of us getting ambushed by water balloons. But today I wouldn't be uploading this prank online. This was going to be something personal that I wouldn't want to share with tens of millions of people.

I had gotten a large bucket full of ice cold water prepared to dump over Rory's head and I had the ring in my pocket. The ring was really simple because I knew that Aurora would never be seen wearing a ring with a diamond the size of Russia on her hand. I had talked with her father Pierre yesterday asking for his approval of proposing to his one and only daughter. After giving me a long winded speech about how if I didn't treat her right he would personally make sure that nothing of the sort happened again, he obliged. The two cameras that we always used to film our pranks were secretly hidden in their designated areas so that we could have a recording of this moment to watch when our hair was greying and we had laugh lines up and down our face.

Everything was ready for the second she walked through the door; returning to the house we shared from her hockey practice. The only possible thing that could go wrong was if she turned me down. Rory had always said that love was something that didn't come easily. She believed that each person on this planet has one true love and their life mission is to find that person before death tore them from this earth. She always said that love was one of the biggest commitments out there in the world today but she's been dating me for five years now and we have created some love every so often - if you know what I mean. She has admitted to my face that she has found her soul mate and fallen in love with him, but what if marriage is too much of a commitment of love for her? What if she isn't ready?

It was too late now though as I heard the blue truck that I had bought her for our third Christmas together rumble it's way up into our two car garage. It's now or never.

The handle on the door turned and the freezing water from above came tumbling down onto the love of my life. She let a shriek escape her lips but once she realized what happened she looked over at me with pure fury expressed all over her face, I was about to let out a bark of laughter at her facial expressions but once I realized what I had to do next my face became a blank slate, emptied of emotion.
