Chapter 49: Heartbreaks

Taeyeon's POV

It's been a year now since EXO debuted. I miss my brother. I miss our bonding times together. This house is really boring without him.  I really miss everything... especially him. 

My friends were here at my house now. Since my brother left,  they always come here to cheer me up. And now we are all here in the living watching some Kdramas.

"Taeyeon unnie!" Yuri called me and I only hummed in respond.

"You're spacing out again" Yoona said while changing the channel.

"Oh am I?"

"Uh-huh" Jessica nodded.

I sigh and looked back at the T.V again. I really want this day to be over now.

Yoona continued in changing the channel again.

"Boring"

"Stupid"

"Lame"

They all said in sync while Yoona is keeping on changing the channel.

"Wait! Turn it back!" Tiffany said

Yoona turn back the channel as Tiffany said. And it was no other than a News Channel -_-

"Booo!!!" the girls complained.

"Oh c'mon! Watching the news is not so bad!" Tiffany scoffed.

"Breaking News: Byun Baekhyun of EXO  is confirmed dating Yoon Bomi of APink"

My heartbeat stopped in there for awhile. I dropped the glass I was holding and it is just like my heart. It got broken into million pieces.

Jessica immediately snatched the remote from Yoona and quickly turned off the T. V.

All the girls glared at Tiffany and she just mouthed 'sorry'.

"I told we should just watched NatGeo" Seohyun whispered to Yoona.

"W-what?!  So it's my fault " Yoona exclaimed.

The girls started bickering, they didn't even noticed that I am already crying like hell in here!

"Yah! Can you girls stop!" Sunny exclaimed causing them to stop.

They all turned and looked at me worriedly. Tiffany sat down beside me and hugged me. I couldn't held it any longer. I let out all of my tears nonstop with those pain inside. I just really want to let it all out.

"Shh.... Unnie it's okay" Yuri said.

"Okay?!  But he promised me!"

Flashback

"I'm really going to miss you" I said as I tighten the hug.

"Shh... Don't worry. Like I said you will wait for me, right" he said and I nodded.

"But.... Will you be back?"

"Promise" he said as he cupped my cheeks and pecked on my lips. "I love you"

End of flashback

"Promises were really meant to be broken" Jessica sigh.

"I am going to sleep now girls" I said as I wiped my tears away. I am really tired for this.

"Are you okay?" Hyoyeon asked worriedly.

"Of course I'm fine. If that's what he wants so be with it. If he is happy then I'm happy for him too as well. I mean,  I don't even have a right to be mad about it since we both agreed that we are just going to stay as friends. Nothing more, nothing less,  just friends." I finally said and immediately went to my room.

I slammed the door and went to my bed. I covered myself with thick blanket and buried myself on it.

I am tired Byun Baekhyun. Maybe it's better if I am just going to forget you for good.

Looks like I have to start over again.

After 5 months

Taeyeon's POV

"Taeyeon unnie! Which do you think is better for our room....  This orange one or this precious aqua" Sooyoung asked me while holding those two bucket of paints.

"I'll go with your 'precious aqua'" I said as I gave her the paint brush.

My friends and I were here now at our new house. Well it still need some more decorations and finally this sill be done.

I went back outside to carry those 3 boxes left.  Seriously! I am the human paper in here yet they just let me carry all of this boxes!

"Let me help with you that" a familiar voice said and took all the boxes I was carrying.

"Minho?!  What are you doing here?"

He smiled first before he said "I was just living 2 blocks away from here"

"Jinjja!"

He chuckled and put all the boxes inside the house.

"Hey I heard that you guys are going to the same university as me too!" he said happily.

"You mean Seoul High University?" I raised my brow

"Exactly!"

"Yes we are" I simply answered.

"Well that's great! We're in the same school again!"

"Yeah..." I awkwardly replied.

So this is my new start?  Huh.... I never expect that Minho will still be part of my life. At least I am starting to move on now.
