Life in the Eye Of a Seventh Grader.

Not so good after all.

The dance wasn't so PERFECT after all. Then again nothings truly PERFECT for a long time. We did have a bunch of fun though.

Dance

My mom didn't know whether she came in or not. So I got to the place were you bought your tickets and said BYE to my mommy. I walked in and I was at first surrounded by the dudes. Then by the photo booth I saw Keery. I ran over and poked her. She turned around and laughed.

" So wheres Tori?" I asked, Keery shrugged. I could hear the music from inside the hallway. We went in......It was super dark and these laser lights shone on the wall. Just like Mr.T. had said the boys were in there little corner doing nothing. I didn't dance at first but when Tori and Stevie came I got boogie fever. They played a BUNCH of songs I loved and we danced around as people filled the room.

" You wanna go get some pictures?" Annie asked, I nodded and we ran out of the gym and went to the photo booth. On the table they had fake hair and alt fits to try on. I wore a yellow afro.

" I look so smexy." I joked, they laughed and smiled for the camera.

" Lets go back onto the dance." I said, so we did and I started dancing again.

" Have you seen Afro?" Keery asked, I nodded and pointed to the door way. He was there with a bunch of his friends. She smiled and we kept dancing.

After a while I looked around and saw D.B. he was dancing with some girl. That made me pretty mad so I just sat down with Annie and Tori. I didn't see the door that connected to the wall so when I sat down WHAM! The door flung open and I fell into the other half of the gym. Annie laughed and so did Tori.

" That was a fail." I said, Annie looked at me.

" Whats wrong?" She asked, the music blared so you had to yell at someone to have them hear you.

" D.B. was dancing with some girls." I said, Annie hugged me and we got up and danced again. Drew one of the Old crushes of Annie tried dancing with me so I just walked away. When I hopped in line to get a drink I saw Brendan.

" Hey Brendan do you know what time it is?" I asked, I was hoping it wasn't nine.

" Why would I know what time it is?" He said back. So i just asked Meghan. She said it was eight thirty.

" Wow it's not that late!" Brendan said, I nodded and moved up in line. I bought another water.

I was terrible with running into people. So of course I ran into Afro. Keery laughed as I did because Afro is her crush. Then Sam my old crush who liked me back kept dancing and circling around us. WEIRD. After a while I had to go home. My mom didn't want to try and leave when every one was there. So I said good bye to every one and then got in the car with my little sister and her friend Morgan.

The next day every one was saying how they wanted another dance. So did I. It helped that Annie pointed out that D.B. was dancing with a  bunch of people so it made me feel better. I couldn't wait for the next dance. I was surprised though. I didn't see Wil, nor Cody at the dance.
