IF IT WAS'NT YOU,THEN WHO WAS IT.....?

IF IT WASN'T YOU THEN WHAT WAS IT?

It was a beautiful snowy Christmas eve and mom had invited our relatives to come over and celebrate with us. As our guests had all turned up (surprisingly!!) and we got tons of presents . Aunt Rossie..... My favorite aunt had gifted us a beautiful vase.It was so attractive that mom couldn't resist from putting the vase on the wooden table  in the kitchen. Dad bought some flowers from the florist and mom placed them in the beautiful vase. Loads of fun a hearty dinner and the coolest presents..... What more could you wish for on Christmas 🎄

It was time to sleep and my 🐶 dog Bella had slept with me as usual . It was midnight when I woke up out of the blue and began to starve. I decided to go to the kitchen and have something to eat. Being scared of the dark... I took Bella along with me so that I would feel more safe. I slipped out of the room and went into the kitchen. It was too dark in there yet I did not want to switch on the light cause I don't think anyone would find it nice for a teenager to sneak into a kitchen at this time (at least that's what I feel) .I found a cookie box filled with assorted cookies and without a second thought I started to munch on my favorites .I  also fed Bella a few cookies. While we left the kitchen I knocked over the table(oops) and the beautiful vase broke.It was shattered into pieces and Bella accidentally placed her paw on the  porcelain shards. She started to howl in pain.My heart started to pound . I  woke up to realize that all of this was just a dream. . Thank goodness nothing happened to Bella. This time I was really hungry and so I went to the kitchen along with Bella(this time for real) and in darkness found the cookie box. We ate some cookies and this time I made sure not to  knock over anything.We went back to bed and I was sound asleep.

"It's late,don't you want to take Bella to the veterinary doctor?" said mom as she woke me up from bed. I was shocked in fact terribly shocked.I asked mom about what happened to Bella and she told me that Bella had stepped on the vase which had accidentally broke.I asked mom if it had happened in the morning but mom said "No sweetie,it had happened just after you went to bed." So if it wasn't Bella then who ate my cookie last night?
