The next morning I was awakened by Hermione shaking me furiously.
"Buffy! We're going to be late for class!"
I sighed. Class. I wasn't even good at that at a normal school.
Once I was ready, Hermione started dragging me outside our dormitory into the common room where we waited quietly for Harry and Ron.
A couple minutes later, Harry and Ron came downstairs from their dormitory. They both looked really annoyed.
"What's wrong?" I asked but then wished I hadn't when they gave me looks that seemed to be a combination of 'Are you kidding me?' and 'If you seriously don't know then I'm going to kill you.'
"We have potions first up." Hermione answered for them.
"What's so bad about that?"
" The professor that we have for it is a git." Ron answered.
"Oh." That was all I could say.

As soon as we had started potions, I hated it. I panicked when I saw that one of the instructions on the blackboard for the potion we were making involved using our wands. What the heck was I meant to do?About ten minutes later, Snape paused the class.
"All of you, stop. None of you are doing the correct spell and movement with your wands."
"Phew. Maybe I can get away with not doing it." I muttered under my breath. Unfortunately Snape seemed to have somehow hear me.
"Miss Summers, care to demonstrate the correct spell and movement for us?"
I gulped and pulled out my wand. Even though this was a class with the Slytherins, Willow wasn't in it. That meant she couldn't secretly do the spell for me.
"Come and perform it over here so that the whole class can see!" Snape snapped.
I looked around the class nervously, I spotted Harry, he gave me a reassuring smile.
"Stupid, lucky, spoiled, famous git." I muttered under my breath. I hated that Harry was trying to be nice and welcoming to me.
"Hurry up and do the spell Miss Summers!"
Suddenly I had the best idea ever.
"WHY DO YOU HAVE TO PICK ON ME?! IT'S MY FIRST CLASS EVER HERE AND THE FIRST THING YOU DO IS TRY TO HUMILIATE ME!!!" I forced myself to burst into tears.
Hermione, Harry and Ron all ran up to me.
"Sorry professor, she has really bad stress issues." Hermione told Snape.
"Well, take her to the hospital wing if you must."
All three of them nodded furiously. At that moment I realised that they probably believed that I was having a nervous breakdown because of the lie I told them the night before about my health. I was going to have to continue crying for a bit longer.
It wasn't long before we reached the hospital wing.
"What happened?" This lady I assumed to be the schools nurse asked.
"Buffy had a nervous breakdown during potions." Hermione answered.
"Ah stress. Only one solution to that and that is rest."
Harry and Ron went back to class while Hermione took me to our dormitory where I would be forced to rest for the rest of the day.
