You got another call as you melted a bunch of monsters.
"WHAT IS IT THIS TIME!?"
"We're sending all the heroes that are available. And Venom, they're getting closer to the city."
You looked back and realized how far the monsters had pushed you. You were halfway there. Cursing to yourself as you blasted another monster.
"Alright, alright, we'll handle it!" The phone call ended and you yelled to Silver Fang.
"Hey Bang! Stand back!"
He nodded and backed up, confusing his opponents. You turned toward the army and closed your eyes. The ground began to shake, but you stood still.
"Acidic Calling."
Bright green liquid began to slip through cracks on the ground surrounding you. An ocean began to rise and you crossed your arms around yourself. You waited until they were within range.
And swept out your arms, sending the waves of acid washing over them. You let out an airy laugh and wipe the sweat from your brow.
"Good job (Y/n)!" Bang said.
"Thanks! Now I really want to get back home!"
You growled in annoyance as you heard the phone ringing AGAIN. You took a deep breath and answered.
"Yes?" You asked a little too sweetly.
"Venom, the threat isn't dead yet. It's still heading toward City Z!"
You looked around in confusion.
"But I don't see anythi-"
BOOOOOM!
You spun around and saw a huge monster pop from the ground. It roared awakening everyone asleep in the cities. You hung up the phone and permanently shut it off by melting it in your grip.
Then you called your jet and both you and Fang jumped in. You gripped the handles of the steering wheel, your knuckles turning white.
"Be alright, Saitama."
* * * *
It looked like a purple Godzilla and had two blue horns on its head. It would've been funny if it wasn't destroying the city. You saw more more heroes arrive on the ground.
You quickly land and leap out of the vehicle. You growl, noticing that they were just standing there.
"What are you waiting for!?"
You form a ball of acid and throw it.
"Kick its ass!!!"
You started to touch anything that you could throw, making it poisonous. You throw anything you could think of. You weren't going to let this thing into the city, Saitama was in there.
You gasped. He was in there alone, and your house was right...
BOOM! BOOM! BOOM!
...there
Random missiles were shot from your secured house drawing the attention of the beast. It started to walk toward your home and you started to run for your ride.
"GET AWAY FROM MY HOUSE!"
It ignored you and ripped off your ceiling. Fear ate your stomach as you saw it look through your house. A high pitched scream rang in the air and your blood froze.
You had never gotten into that jet so fast. You zipped past the monster and land in your damaged house. You get out and squint your eyes.
"Saitama!"
Through the dust of destruction, you hear him shout back. "(Y/n)!"
You follow his voice. "I'm coming!"
You jump over a pile of rubble and into your ruined bedroom. You see that the door to the safe room was broken by a piece of the wall. Saitama was fearfully peeking out.
You realize that you don't have your gloves on and motion him to come out. He sprints over to you and you lead him over the the jet.
A shadow towers over you and you gasp. You spin around and do your best to tackle him without touching him with his hands.
Your ride out of the house explodes as a giant foot stomps on it. You cover your brother the best you can as the flames sweep over you. You bite your lip to not scream out and roll onto your burned back.
"(Y/n)!"
You wave him away and stand up.
"I'm fine. Come on. I've got to get you out of here."
You look around and realize that there's no way out. Saitama grabs your arm and clutches onto it tightly. You glance down at his scraped, scared face.
You smirk and step in front of some random debris.
"Don't worry. I'll get us out of here."
* * * *
The icy grip of fear held him in his place. He stood frozen behind his sister, watching with wide eyes.
Her back was badly burned, her forehead was bleeding, and her suit was torn. But she still smiled for him.
(Y/n) put her hand on the debris and began to push. She easily melted a hole into the rock, making an arch to pass through. His jaw dropped. His sister turned around and motioned him to follow.
He closed his mouth, breaking out of his trance, and ran.
* * * *
You let out a grunt as Saitama crashed into your waist. He hugged your torso and hid his face.
You were about to tell him that you both had to leave when-"You're my hero, (Y/n)."
