Final Stand (Sonic Fanfic)

Chapter 2

I screamed in pain as electricity went through me. I forced myself to move but failed.

"Your so pathetic... How can we be the same person?" A dark voice asked. It sounded like venom mixed with pure hatred..

My eyes widen and screamed as I was thrown back. Pain covered my body as I crashed through three trees and skid across the ground and landed into black water.

I could barley open my eyes as I fought of unconsciousness. All I could see was darkness..

Then I saw a small light..

Lifting my head, my bright yellow quills flowing around me, I saw a light shinning above me that looked like the sun.

But then it vanished being replaced by a smiling face.

Blinking a few times to see if it was just my imagination everything seemed to change..

A pair of amber eyes with hints of green stared at me. They were full of kindness and love.

"Hello my little shinning Star!" A gentle voice cooed. It was as sweet as honey and smooth like silk when they spoke.

Blinking my eyes I saw a beautiful yellow hedgehog standing over me smiling lovingly. A gilt of green caught my eye and I saw a green tear drop crystal hanging off a black chocker around the hedgehog's neck.

She smiled kindly as she scooped me up in her arms.

"My little Star Catcher..." She whispered. I could barely see pain behind the love that was strong in her eyes.

Who was she?

"Jezebel?" A mans voice filled the air. The yellow hedgehog lifted her head and smiled more.

Soon a tall white muscular hedgehog with blue tips and baby blue eyes stood over me with the hedgehog as he smiled happily.

"Who's my baby girl?" He asked as he tickled my stomach making me giggle.

This seems all to real.. What is this?

The white hedgehog looked at the yellow hedgehog named Jezebel lovingly and kissed her softly, "I love you Jezebel..."

Jezebel kissed back happily, "I love you too Harold.."

Is this....

A memory?

Both Harold and Jezebel looked back down at me lovingly before they melted away.

Blinking rapidly I tried to focus my vision but it instantly became blurred by the brackish water.

I had to get to the surface! I can't die! I didn't want to die!

I tried to scream but nothing came out as a series of black bubbles floated to the fading surface.

But slowly the bubbles began to change into flames, then fire soon engulfed my vision.

Screams of terror echoed in my ears, children cries seemed to never stop, as a soothing voice tried to calm them down.

Slowly a bright yellow hedgehog took form. She was covered in ashes, her amber green eyes filled with terror and worry...

Jezebel...

Everything seemed to be moving so fast as Jezebel stood up quickly helping two small hedgehogs out of the burning room towards Harold, who's white quills now looked like a light grey.

The two small hedgehogs were picked up by Harold as he ran downstairs, Jezebel not to far behind.

One was a small blue girl hedgehog with amber eyes, looking around 6. She wore a white dress now charred and burned, and a large white bow in her quills. The other one was a white boy hedgehog with amber blue eyes, around 7, wearing a grey shirt and black shorts.

What's going on?!

A loud creak came from above as Jezebel and Harold drew closer to the front door.

Before I knew it the boys voice filled my ears as the ceiling caved in.

"DADDY!!"
