»"that would mean that everything we talked about was all for nothin'..."

"Sierra, I'm so sorry." Paris said as she walked through the door.

"I don't even care anymore." Sierra said rocking Daphne in her arms.

"I brought a peace offering." She smiled slightly and held up a bag of Chinese food.

"All is forgiven, but your girls missed you." She said. Paris sat the food down and took Daphne into her arms.

"Mommy is so sorry for being gone a long time. I promise it'll never happen again, ok?" Daphne nodded and Paris went into the room where Harley was.

"Har, you ok?" She asked sitting on the bed. Harley nodded and continued to play with her doll, "Mommy's sorry for leaving you..."

"Did you go with Da Da?" She asked.

Paris shook her head, "Daddy is singing remember? I went to see a friend."

"Mommy, I want to see daddy." Daph whined, rubbing her eyes.

"You can see him when we go see aunt Hattie, ok?" Paris said kissing her cheek.

Throughout the day, Bryson would call and she'd ignore him. She didn't want to hear him at the moment, not because she was 100% sure of the situation but she didn't want to face the situation.

"You're a princess, mommy." Harley cheered, placing a plastic tiara on her head.

"Oh, ok. It's getting late. We can only play for a little while longer." She said looking at the time.

"Aw, mommy!" Daphne pouted.

"Come on, we can play fo—" she was cut off by the sound of someone knocking on the girls' door. The door opened and revealed Bryson.

"Daddy!" The girls cheered, running past Paris to get to Bryson. He scooped them both up and attacked them with kisses.

"I'm missed y'all so much." He said as they giggled and played with his hat. He put them down and looked at Paris.

Paris quickly changed from looking at him in shock, to looking in another direction.

"Come on, clean up your toys. I'm going to go start your bath water." She said, getting up and dusting herself off.

"Yea, clean up girlies, but, you—" he grabbed Paris' wrist and pulled her into the hallway.

"Bryson, let go of me." She demanded.

"You're not happy to see me? I came all the here because you're mad at me and won't answer my calls." He sighed.

"Unless you're going to tell me who this woman is and why my daughter has the same name as her then no, I'm not happy to see you."

"Paris, what's up with you? We don't do this. Do you think I'd really name our daughter after somebody I was messing with, cause that's what you think, right?" He asked, tilting his head so that they were staring into each other's eyes.

"No, not neces— I don't know, Bryson. I don't anything, honestly. Maybe she's somebody you love more than me. Maybe that's Reign's real name." She crossed her arms.

"Paris, why are you—"

"You keep deflecting the question, like you don't want me to know the truth. I want to know..."

He just sighed and held his head down, wiping his hand over his face. Paris scuffed in disbelief before sucking her teeth.

"Fuck you, Bryson." Paris coldly barked before pushing past him and walking down the hallway.

He rose his head and looked back at her with astonishment. The words didn't hurt at first, they just surprised him. In all the years he'd known Paris, she'd never said anything of the sort.

"Girls! Daddy's about to go, ok?" He said walking into their bedroom.

"No, daddy." Harley whined, poking her lip out, "Stay with us and mommy."

"I have to get back to singing for my fans but I'll see you soon, ok?" He kissed her forehead but the tears had already started to form.

"Come on, I'll tuck you in." He said. First he tucked Harley in, then Daphne after, "Daddy's love both you no matter what. Night." He flicked off the lights and left the door ajar.

"Love you too, daddy." He heard from Daphne, making him smile.

He walked into the living room, "Bye, Sierra." He said not looking in her direction.

"Wait, Bryson!" She nearly hopped off the couch, "Did y'all talk?"

"I'm over this whole situation. You tell her; when I call, put my daughters on the phone. Bye."
