Judy's P.O.V

It'd been 3 months since I met Nick, and they were the greatest 3 months of my life. I was even happier when he asked to be his mate than when I was accepted on the police force. But as of recently, being in the last couple of weeks, he seemed more, distant, not as vibrant or energetic as the ol' hustler I fell in love with. Soon, though I would realize why. If only I had known sooner, none of this would've happened

General P.O.V

"Another one, are you kidding me?" the fox thought as he saw another ticket on his parked car . It was around midnight and he was just out to say hi to some old friends and grab a snack at the local convenience store. "I was 2 seconds late, what the..." he stopped as soon as he read the ticket. " turn around, slowly" terrified, he turned around slowly, expecting a 6' tall tiger, ready to slash open his chest at an instant, only to receive a quick peck on the lips. "Jesus, you gave me a damn heart attack carrots!" he said as a certain rabbit laughed hysterically "YOU.. SHOULDVE SEEN.. YOUR FACE!" she squeezed out in between laughs. "oh really, I should've seen mine? you should see yours. It looks like you just... you just.." he fell flat, not thinking of any comebacks. "like what? My face looked like what?" she pressed on as they got into the car. "Nothing, alright? You beat me this time. THIS time." Nick responded with a hint of mischief. "Come on, chief needs us for something. Hence why I have the tickets and thought I would give you a good scare." she told him. "Yah, well you did a hell of a job." he responded as he continued down the highway. "I don't know what it is, he wouldn't say anything about it to me around everyone." "Strange, I wonder if its a late night meter duty? If so you're ready." they both let out a small chuckle, than silence fell between the two until they got to the station.

Nick's P.O.V

"God, thought I was done with this dump for today, don't I ever get a damn break!" I yelled at the now empty building. "what's that tone?" a deep voice came from behind us. "hey, chief." I responded to the gruff looking buffalo. "So, you managed to drag this sorry sod here, eh hops?" "Yah, took a bit of convincing, but it worked. Turns out he's afraid of words!" she started to chuckle to herself. "Oooh, so funny. Like I said, I'll get you someday." I retorted to her oh-so clever remark. "Never mind that. I couldn't talk about this around everyone, as I didn't want to cause a riot. But we have had 3 more missing person's reports. 2 of them have been found." Bogo, suddenly very solemn, said. " Both horribly mutilated, beyond recognition. The only way we could identify them was that some form of ID had been stuck into their head somewhere." "Jesus... how could someone do something like that?" I said in disbelief. He put down a file and walked away. "Please, find the guys that did this. Ill make them all pay." Bogo said as he walked into his office. "weird, why was he like that?" Judy said. "Dunno, maybe one was a friend of his?" I suggested. The file, labeled "Case File No. 1" contained only two photos of the two found dead, one of an older tiger, age 57, 5'9" name Margret Dawn, Then it made sense. The second photo was of a younger buffalo, age 14, Height 5'3" named Adrien Bogo.
