Lily P.O.V.

Over the intercom Lilianna hears: Paging Dr. Samuels to room 163

Can she not catch a break? Lily has been on her feet since early in the morning, and she desperately needs a break. She humphs and starts walking towards room 163. Wasn't that the same little boy she checked on just 5 mins ago? She walks in, and what she sees can never be unseen. There on a hospital bed is the little boy's body shaking uncontrollably. She looks over at her fellow nurse, and knows that he's changing because she's seen it before. She wonders why a young werewolf is in a human hospital? She hears the bone cracks and mentally cringes. She likes this part least of all. Lily turns to look at the boy, but all she sees is a little boy shaking with blood coming from his body. Well that's odd, she thinks. When a werewolf changes they don't bleed. BEEP,BEEP,BEEP! Quick Lily think!! He's not changing right do something!! Oh, shut up Mary!! Lily focus, and help him!! What do I do? Help him!! Yes, but how?? Think of something!! You're the doctor!! I have never dealt with a young wolf changing before!! You're a wolf why aren't you doing anything?? Technically you're the wolf not me...so ya. Sometimes I think I'm the human, ok do you see where the blood is coming from?

"Doctor, we have lost him. Time of death 10:05 A.M."

That wouldn't of happened if you would of listened to me. Having a wolf in your head is annoying. I heard that!! You were supposed to. Lily walked away and didn't get 5 steps without crying. She stopped and sat down in a chair, and just cried. She cried for the little boys family, she cried because he will never have a mate. Mate. What? Mate. Right in front of you is our mate. Lily looks up, and across the room she sees the most gorgeous guy staring back at her. How is he our mate? I don't know!! But he is talk to him!! And say what? 'Hi you don't know me, but were mates' good luck with that. Don't say it directly geez, gets some brains scarecrow. You did not just compare me to the scarecrow in The Wizard of Oz. Quick he's coming over here!! Calm down.

"Hey, why the sad face?"

"One of my patients died," she looked up at him, "you wouldn't by chance be single?"

"I'm flattered, but I'm gay." Gay? What?! There is no way that he is gay!! I will shut you out!

"Oh, well than we could be friends." Friends? Pff ya friends who want to jump your bones every chance you get!! Oh my mind!!

"Yeah sounds fair enough," he held his hand out to her, "Matthew Samson, but you can call me Matt"

"Lilianna Samuels, but you can just call me Lily everyone else does"

"No I think Lilianna suits you better than Lily"

"Well it's a combined name"

"Oh. What do you mean?"

"My grandmother's name was Lily, and my mom's name is Anna. Sadly my grandmother died a week before I was born, and my mother died in child labor. So my father named me after them"

"Beautiful" You better say something fast before I come out.

"What Ward of the hospital do you work at?"

"I don't work here. I'm visiting someone, but I saw a pretty girl with a sad face."

"Oh."

"So, why are you sad?"

"One of my patients just died. How he died is the weird part."

"What do you mean?" He stopped. "How did he died?"

"He started to shake violently, and the other nurse with me had no clue what was going on. Honestly, neither did I"

"Oh, well um I don't know either"

Matt P.O.V.

But Matt did. Of course he did because Matt is an alpha, and he knows that what the little boy was doing was changing into a werewolf.

"Ya that's the problem. Nobody does." Matt looked at her. How could his mate be so beautiful, and see such a horrid sight. He knows she is a human, so he told her he was gay to not scare her. That was the only thing he could do because once he saw her, and heard her voice he was smitten. His wolf wanted to take her right on the spot. But because she is a human, and does not know what werewolves are, he held back. Until next time, little mate.
