"And you're positive?"

"Yes. Alpha."

"100% positive?"

"110% positive Alpha"

"Alright, you're dismissed." I had to leave the room because my beta mind linked to tell me that he had information about my mate. Hearing the words, 'you're mate's father is Alpha Martin' is like a sucker punch to the gonads. It is not a good thing. Alpha Martin is my sworn enemy. He has killed so many members of my pack, and I wish that her dad was someone else. But like my dad used to say, beggars can't be choosers. I just wonder if she knows how awful her dad really is.

I walked to room 23 to see my beautiful mate crouching beside a young girl. She looks up at me and nods her head over as if to say, 'wait outside' I walk out and stand against the wall. Five minutes later she walks out.

"What can I do for you Alpha Matt?"

"For you it's just Matt. I came here to ask you to move in with me. That is if you want to, but keep in mind that I always get what I want."

"Why would I want to move in with you just because we are mates?"

"Because you are my mate and I want to treat you the way you deserve to be treated. The way a mate should be treated. If you will let me, that is. I would never want to take you against your will, that is unless you like that."

"Ew! No! Let's just slow it down, and start slow. Perhaps go on a date first, a movie maybe."

"First we need to talk about something"

"And what is that?"

"Your father is Alpha Martin"

"Yes, and what's the big deal?"

"He killed members of my pack, Lily. People who were practically family to me. People who have families. People like me! The only reason that I am Alpha is because your dad killed my dad! Ever since then I have been looking for him to exact revenge on him and then I find out that he is your father. My mate, my destiny, my true love is the daughter of my sworn enemy."

"So what are you trying to get at? Do you not want me to move in with you? I was not aware that my father killed people because he never wanted me to know because I was too young. I was a child! And yet here you stand trying to belittle me, make me look like the bad guy. When I did not even know anything about my father killing people."
