Leaving my home

Hey, you all might know me. I'm Katie, short for Katherine. Right now I just woke up with my mom screaming at me how stupid and dumb I am and how I never do nothing at the house.

I hear footsteps coming to my room. Next thing you know my door swung open with my mom mad.

"I THOUGHT I TOLD YOU TO WAKE UP TO GO TO SCHOOL, DIDN'T YOU HEAR ME STUPID!"

"Yeah mom, but I don't want to go." I look away and lay my head down on my pillow.

"YOUR GOING BECAUSE I TOLD YOU TO! NOW GO BEFORE I PULL YOU BY YOUR HAIR TO SCHOOL!" My mom says while she walks out the door to make breakfast.

"Ugh I hate when she acts like this. People always say "She loves it's just you is trying to make you a better person" like people don't lie to me".

I think to myself before rolling my eyes and getting up from bed...yes I'll miss my sweet bed. I walk down the stairs and sit down spilling my juice over my pretty black shirt.

"Why do you always make a fucking mess stupid, huh?" She yells at me and spits at my face.

"I don't know I learned it from you. Sorry I'm not the person you wanted as a child mother!" I yell at her.

"Don't you dare raise your voice at me young lady or I will beat you till you fall to the ground! You heard me!!" She yells louder.

"Then don't treat me like shit mother. What have I done to make you hate me! Nothing I should earn respect, but you never give me respect. I'm tired of you hitting me for stupid reasons! I'm done with your bullshit mother! I'M LEAVING THE HOUSE!" I yell louder.

I turn around and run to my room, also hearing the footsteps of my mother behind me. I close my door and pack my stuff in a tiny suitcase to leave.

"LEAVE THE FUCKING HOUSE THEN I DON'T GIVE A FUCK ABOUT YOU! FOR ALL I CARE DIE!!"

"Well I'm leaving now then. You won't have to worry a little bit about me at all."

I walk downstairs before I could open the door my mom comes from behind me and hits me with a thick stick of metal.

"WHAT YOU DO THAT F-------!"

Before I could say anything else everything went black...
