A couple hours before
I woke up to aunt Lia bringing me breakfast which consisted of scrabble eggs with bacon, toast and sausage with a cup of orange juice. I'm now seven months pregnant my stomach is big, I can't even see my toes. This pregnancy is making me so emotional these past few months, like I just start crying for no apparent reason.
Anyway aunt Lia sets the food on my lap then kisses me on my forehead then turns around and leaves the bedroom. Before she is all the way out the door she called over her shoulder that my parents and brother are dow stairs eating breakfast.
As soon as I finish eating my breakfast I get up from bed with a little struggle and waddle in to the bathroom. I do my necessaries then go back into to my room to get my clothes to take a shower. When I'm down with my shower I head down stairs.
By the time I'm down everyone is in the theatre room. I walk into the room to see Nathaniel putting Ride Along 2 into the dvd player and then returning to sit next to aunt Lia. When I take a step forward my dad turns and spots me then calls me over to sit next to him. When I arrive next to him I spot a boy looking around two years older then me with brown straight hair with chocolate color eyes a strong jawline and half sleeve tattoo on his right arm and another smaller tattoo on his left arm. He has a lip piercing on his pouty pink lips.
I turn away from him when he catches my gaze. My dad then taps my shoulder when I look at him he points to the boy and tell him to introduce himself and the boy does just that.

After the movie was done I went up stairs to get at least two hours of sleep before eating lunch, being pregnant also makes me very exhausted and hungry especially the cravings. After I woke up i got up and went in to the bathroom to do my business, after I was done I crept down the stairs heading to the study knowing that my father would be there if they haven't left yet.
As soon as I arrive by the study I hear talking coming from the inside I peek through the crack to see Nathaniel, Marcus, my mother and my father, I was just about to pop inside the room but I was very curious to hear what they were saying and what they were saying was the very reason I stayed rooted in my place frozen I didn't even Know what to think.
But I would soon find out and I would no get the full explanation. When I went to turn around the floor boards creaked under my weight and all heads snapped to me, I'm surprise there necks never broke off. I took a step away from the door when my father called me into the room and told me to take a seat on the bean bag seat that looked so comfortable I could just sleep on it, Melody now is not the time to get distracted I told my self.

Present time
My father started speaking looking very nervous. Well from what you heard which I think is everything we are in the mafia you Know the one everyone talks about around the world the "Kingstons DeLuca Mafia" well yeah that one and your old man over here is who runs it and if you were to become interested in it Marcus would teach you the ropes then you and Nathaniel would take over when I feel like retiring.
Anyway we were talking to the second best mafia the "Blood Mafia" we were making an alliance for protecting each other some of the smaller mafias feel the need to be threatening us and we don't take light to threats so we were just finalizing everything and that is were you caught us. If you feel the need to hate us we would under stand we should at least told you when we fist spoke to each other.
