Once upon a time, there was a father and a mother. They had a beautiful son named Harry. He wasn't like other boys. He was more feminine and almost always insisted in wearing dresses than trousers. His parents Anne and Des never minded who he was, as long as he was happy.

His friends Ed and Nick never minded either but if anyone wanted to make Harry cry, they made them run.

Harry never cried or frowned. He was always happy with all of his servants. Well he never called them servants. They were family. His life was a fairy tail and his home was his kingdom. The animals were his people and Harry protected his people with all that he can. His life was perfect. Until one day his mother fell ill.

He was only a child at the time but he knew what was going on when a doctor was coming to their home a few days at a time.

"Daddy? What's going to happen to mommy?" Harry asked one evening while being tucked in by his father.

"Mommy is going to a better place soon baby. Don't be sad." His father kissed him on the head and left things at that.

Harry was waiting outside the door of the living room where his father, mother and the doctor resided. He was wearing his favorite blue dress with blue flats. His feet kept him pacing back and forth waiting for any news of his mother's condition. Soon the door opened.

"Thank you doctor. . . For everything." Des said with a sad tone in his voice. Then he looked at Harry and held him tight in his arms.

"Daddy?"

"Let's go see Mommy once last time baby." Des lead Harry inside the living room and Harry ran to his mother and hugged her tight.

"Mommy where are you going?" He said through his tears.

"Don't be sad my love. I'm never leaving you. I'll always be here." She pointed to his heart.

"I'm going to miss you mommy." Harry looked up with tears running down his face.

"Just remember to be kind and be brave. Have a magical life with your father. I love you very much." Anne cried with her family as they hugged for the last time.

Over the years Harry and his father got very close that they were almost inseparable. Every year when the time comes, they walk together to the tree that they buried Anne. Not only did they get closer but Harry also grew into the beautiful feminine man the world has ever seen. He has the curves of a woman but he never cared. He loved his body for the way it was. Everyone in the kingdom never cared for it either because he was kind and too nice to be broken.

Des most of the time was out on trips to other kingdoms nearby for the trading business and the like. Harry missed him every day that he was gone while he was at school with his friends. Today was like any other except for the fact that Des was coming home. Harry was waiting by the door as he saw his father pull up the drive.

"Father!" He cried as he hugged his father.

"Hello, sweetheart." Des hugged him back as they walked into the house.

Harry and Des were relaxing in the parlor while Harry was reading a book aloud to his father.

"Kant had always felt that the difference between right and wrong was a matter of reason, not sentiment. In this he agreed with the rationalists, who said the ability to distinguish between right and wrong is inherent in human reason. Everybody knows what is right and wrong, not because we have learned it but because it is born in the mind. According to Kant, everybody has 'practical reason', that is, the intelligence that gives us the capacity to discern what is right or wrong in every case. . . I think that is enough of Sophie's World for now." Harry smiled at his father who was listening to every word that he was reading before he closed the book.

"My sweet, where did you get that book from?"

"The library upstairs. I was bored while you were gone so I decided to read to pass the time."

"Didn't you have Ed or Nick come by to keep you company?"

"Yes but all they wanted to do was play video games," Harry said dramatically as he fell back on the chair to prove his point.

Des chuckled at his son's dramatics before standing up and offering his hand to him. Harry took his hand.

"Come on. We're going out to dinner tonight. I've already told everyone to have the night off." He smiled and led his only child out to the car before driving off into the city.

"Father, you never told me about your trip. How was it?" Harry asked kindly after ordering from the menu of the small restaurant that was owned by a close friend.

"It was fine but I wish that you came with me this time." Des answered.

"How come?"

"Oh Harry, you would have liked the sights around the town. I stayed in a very nice hotel that had a view of the harbor and it's neighboring ports. The people there were also very nice, that you wouldn't even believe."

"If only I didn't have to go to school whenever you're on a trip." Harry pouted.

"Don't worry. Once you are on summer vacation, I will take you on a trip with me so you can explore the next kingdom." His father smiled.

"Promise?" Harry held out his pinky finger out.

"Promise." Des wrapped his pinky around his son's.
