Nightmares ~ Bruce X reader IMPORTANT NOTE (at the end)

" Hold on !!"
"I can't I promise I'll get you home just don't let go !"
"I am sorry "
You woke up in a pool of sweat tears running down your cheeks you've been dreaming of these nightmares ever since you brother was presumably deceased
"(Y/N)" Bruce sat up and lit up the lampshade "I'll get you some water " he said running from your room
You hated the way you woke up scared and crying Bruce comforting you slowly helping you stop these nightmares
Your mind was skimming with ideas until Bruce came in and handed you the water your hand trembled trying to hold the glass of water
When you were done gulping down the water you tested your head on his Boulder closing your eyes .. Feeling his heart thump his hands resting on your head
"You'll be alright , you'll be alright I promise you'll be okay since I am with you " he mumbled them to you almost sounds like a poem
You were like that in the dark , him comforting you after a nightmare often giving you small kiddies to keep you from sobbing , often checking on you so much that Tony decided to use a different partner , but it was a joke..
And so you two were like that until he actually asked you what these nightmares came from and if he could make a serum to stop them
You fumbled out of the covers slowly
"A-after HYDRA took me captive .. I -I " your voice drifted off
"What happened ?!" He voice was getting pretty alarmed
"They did horrible things to me , I just can't say it and all these nightmares of the people I killed trust me I don't think you know how I feel " you said putting your head into your pillow
"(Y/N)" he said putting his soft big arms on your back
"That's why I choose to live and love you , because I know how to be the "monster " I never thought someone would love because I might Hulk out on them , but you did and that's why I choose you and that's why I need to know because we never hid a thing to each other right ?
I came up and hugged him tighter than ever and the good thing is he never objected because he was right out of all the other women in the world you chose him even though he might hulk out ...
