New Girl

Chapter 2

"I am single...this is actually my brother, Jason." She faces me as I turn to her brother. "Oh, and you're both 17?" Jason shakes his head no. "Actually I am 18, Nikki is 17. I got held back one year so I had to repeat a grade." Jason says. Jason sits next to me and Nikki sits next to Jordan. "So are you two together?" When Jason said that I wanted to throw up.

"OH HELL NO!!!" Jordan and I say together in disgust. "Jo and I are only best friends. I actually suggested that Jordan and Nikki hang out a little bit." I look away from Jason and I realize that Jordan and Nikki were already gone. I glanced around the cafeteria and spotted Jordan and Nikki standing near the exit of the cafeteria. "Oh my gosh." I mumble to myself. "What is it." I smile towards Jason and look towards Jordan and Nikki. "Well you see how happy he looks?" Jason nods looking at Jordan with an evil glare. "Well, he hasn't looked that happy since he was with his last girlfriend. He really, REALLY, liked her. This is the first time I've seen him this happy ever since. It's nice...Don't worry about Jordan, he wouldn't break Nikki's heart. He's a pretty cool dude..."

Jason tilts his face thinking about what I just said. "Well you just sit and stare I'm going to go. Bye Jason." I want to ask Nikki if she wanted to hang out after school and maybe catch her up on what were learning in case she was learning something else.

"Ok, here's the deal you two. Jo you like Nikki. Nikki you like Jo. Jo and Nikki, you're going to be hanging out this weekend at the mall or the movies, which ever you prefer. Got it?" They both nod and smile at one another. Well I got to talk to Nikki. Why don't you go talk to her brother?" Nikki and I wave him goodbye and he walks over to Jason. "Ok so how do you feel about us hanging out together after school. Just us girls, maybe catch up on school stuff if you want?" Nikki nods in agreement. "My house or your house?" Nikki says, "Lets go to my house. I'd love for you to see if my room arrangement is ok." "Ok here is my address, come at around 4." I nod my head yes while I smiled.

"Perfect, I love arranging and organizing. I'd probably have the most fun out of organizing." I laugh a little and we both walk over to the table and while they eat their lunch. "No way am I eating this." I pick up my tray and throw away my lunch. Jason breaks off a piece of his sandwich that he brought to lunch and hands it to me. "Here...You have to eat something." I shook my head no. "Look, it's your lunch you eat it." He moves the piece closer to me and I roll my eyes.

"Fine!" I grab the sandwich and start eating eat. "What's your name anyways, I never heard it?" I face him and say, "It's Blake." He nods and turns to face Jordan and Nikki. I look towards them and they were really...connecting. They were getting lost in each others eyes. "Wow I am such a loner." I mumble to myself and get up as the bell rings. "Hey Nikki, what's your next class?" She pulls out her schedule and compares it to her, Jason's, and my schedule.

"Well we have the next 5 classes of the day together." Nikki smiles and looks up at Jason and then me. "What?" Jason and I say together. "Nothing." Nikki says with a grin. "Ok well anyways, we have the next few classes with that guy who I threatened this morning. Sadly you only have the next 3 classes with Jordan." Jason taps my shoulder and I turn around to face him. He raises an eyebrow at me, "You threatened some guy?" I nod my head yes and we head over to the next class. Every upcoming 3 classes Jordan and Nikki sat down with each other. They were so cute even if they've known each other for a couple hours.

After 5th period Jordan walked with us to 6th period. Jordan hugged Nikki before we went inside. After the next 2 periods we all met up at parking lot. We all said good bye and Jordan drives me home. "Hey can we talk for a bit inside?" I ask waiting for a response. "Sure." Jo and I head inside my apartment.

"So, you and Nikki hit it off?" He smirks and blushes for a moment. "Uh yeah, she's really cute. You were right, she is pretty cool." I smile of excitement. "Jo, it's nice to see you this happy since Rebecca. You used to be this happy with her, and you used to really like her. I'm really happy for you." He smiles back at me. "Yeah, I like her a lot." "Ok well it's almost 4 and I got to go to Nikki's house." He nods and leaves.

I grab by purse and head over to my car and turn on my maps. I head over to Nikki's house and I walk up to the front door. I ring the doorbell and wait. I see Jason when the door opens. "Hey Jason, I'm here for Nikki." I say while he opens the door fully open. "Well she'll be back in a few minutes...Come in."
