There's this girl named Ana,
With her flowing golden hair.
She has friends in abundance,
And she doesn't have a care.
I've seen this girl called Ana,
She's beautiful and thin.
She has lights that dance within her eyes,
And freckles dusted on her skin.
I watch this girl named Ana,
She's all I want to be.
She's seen that I'm unhappy,
And she says that she'll help me.
I know this girl called Ana,
She agrees that I'm too fat.
She sees the weight like I do,
And says she can help with that.
I have a friend named Ana,
She helps my to lose weight.
Don't eat more than you have to,
Never leave an empty plate.
I trust this girl called Ana,
She knows just what to do.
But she says I'm still too fat,
And the mirror shows its true.
I'm right in liking Ana,
I know she's really smart.
But everyone who sees us,
Says she's tearing me apart.
I'm not sure about Ana,
This seems a bit extreme.
She's making me eat less and less,
But she says she's on my team.
I'm getting sick of Ana,
She's pushing me too far.
It might be time to stop before,
She leaves a permanent scar.
There's this twisted girl called Ana,
Taking over my head.
I used to hold the steering wheel,
Now she's driving instead.
I've tried to run from Ana,
Cause she's got me feeling blue.
But she just won't let me,
And there's nothing I can do.
I am a girl named Ana,
Now she's part of me.
She'll take me to an early grave,
She'll never set me free.
