the first girlfriend you had after we broke up,

i never knew her personally, she was a girl from another school

i never felt bitter at all, to be honest

i was trying my best not to care

then you called it quits after 2 months

the second girlfriend you had after we broke up,

i know her personally, she's a friend 

we weren't that close but she's from the clique

i was bitter. really bitter

who wouldn't be when everyone kept comparing her from me

but i was very in denial

because she's a friend, i should at least try to be happy for the two of you

then you guys ended it after 6 months

to tell you the truth, i was happy 

that you never had a relationship longer than a year

why? because i assumed i'm still the best one

not until you met...

the girl you are with now

is the third girlfriend after we broke up,

i've met her a few times, i think twice or thrice

you met her in college, through a common friend

you see, i'm jealous, i'm insecure

because i know it's time to say goodbye

to assuming being the best one

because as soon as the clock hits twelve later tonight,
