Molly threw a white shirt into her trunk and her mother immediately took the same article out. straightened out the creases and folded it before placing it in its original position.
“Molly!” Her mother scolded from beside her, “You have to fold your clothes, I just spent ages ironing them!”
Molly sank to a sitting position on the bed, jutting her lower lip out and looking as if she was going to cry. “I know...but I don’t want to go to Hogwarts.” She whined, “I want to stay with you….”
“Honey, we’ve talked about this. You have to go back to school. No objections.”Her mother sat down beside her, wrapping her arm around Molly’s neck and pulling her close. “You’ll be fine, just relax.”
The 12 year old furrowed her brow, “But why can’t I stay with you? Lucy gets to.”
Her mother smiled at her daughter, “Lucy’s 9. You have to get an education, Molly. Otherwise you’ll never be able to do the things you want.”
Molly, now suddenly intrigued, tilted her head upwards and asked in a small, hoarse voice; “Like what?”
“Like…being a healer?”
Molly scrunched up her face in disgust, “B-but I hate blood!”
“A professor?”
“Mum! I just told you I hate school!”
Audrey chuckled, “So you did. Now, let’s see….what about a minister in one of the departments?”
Molly faked a yawn, “Boring!”
“Well, I guess you’ll just have to wait and see when you’re older then. “ Her mother smiled and stood up, “Now, c’mon, let’s pack the last few things so we can go on our picnic.”
Molly bounced off the bed with a big grin before picking up a school skirt and carefully folding it.

Audrey Weasley clasped the hands of her two little girls tightly. Lucy, the younger one, was at the left and wearing a violet dress embellished with butterflies. Molly, the older one, was at the right and wearing an ensemble of shorts and a t-shirt. Molly being the older one had been given the responsibility of holding the picnic basket.
They walked together through fields thick with grass and clogged with flowers of all different sizes and shapes that brushed against their bare legs as they went past.
And when they came to a little creek that dipped in between two hills, Audrey stopped and looked at the stepping stones warily. “Think we can make it across them?” She asked her two girls and they nodded eagerly.
“Alright then. Molly, you go first.” Molly stepped on to the first rock, all the while still holding her mother’s hand.
Audrey followed after her as Molly moved onto the second stone and Lucy came after her. They continued across carefully, still holding each other hands as they moved slowly, trusting deeply in the grip of their shoes.
A high-pitched cry that could only belong to a child pierced into the solitude of their surroundings and their mother’s head whipped around.
She saw Lucy as her foot slid off the mossy stone and saw her beginning to fall. The hand that was still firmly connected with Lucy’s was yanked back, pulling her up and saving Lucy from falling backwards onto the cluster of rocks that hid underwater.
Lucy regained her balance, a little breathless and a little dazed but nonetheless fine.
“Are you alright, Luce?!” Molly asked in a panicked voice, she hadn’t seen anything because she was in front of her mother and therefore only heard Lucy scream.
“Y-yes. I’m fine, thanks to mummy.” Lucy grinned toothily at her mother, a gap in where her two front teeth recently used to be.
“C’mon girls, let’s get off these stones.”

Their picnic had been a playful affair even after Lucy’s scare. They returned to their small house laughing, giggling and clutching the now empty picnic basket.
Walking into the house, Audrey found the lights were now switched on despite being off when they left.
She glanced around, “Percy?” Their mother called tentatively and a figure appeared at the top of the stairs, slowly lumbering down until they finally came into light.
“Daddy!” Molly and Lucy squealed as they ran towards Percy. He bent down and opened his arms, enveloping them both in a hug.
“Hello pumpkins, what did you do with Mummy today?” Percy asked as he looked at Audrey with a small grin on his face.
“We went on a picnic in a field!” Lucy exclaimed, untangled her arms from around Percy.
“Really? Did you have Butterbeer?”
“Yes! Lots and lots in fact.” It was Molly’s turn to reply; she stuck her tongue out, “You would be jealous!”
Percy laughed quietly. “Is that so? Have you been spoiling our girls, Audrey?” He raised his gaze to where she was standing by the door.
Audrey walked over and crouched down, kissing her husband on the cheek and pulling her daughters into a hug, “They deserve to be spoiled though.” She grinned as she felt her husband’s hands wrap around her and the girls.
