I took one last sip of my vanilla bean coffee, and tossed it in the trash.

I slung my small backpack over my shoulder and headed into the school building.

I was almost to my first class of the day when someone stopped me. Ashley.

"cam, I thought you took your classes in the afternoon." She said walking with me.

"I decided to switch things up this year." I said with a shrug.

"cool, that means maybe we can spend more time with each other." She said giving my bicep a small hug.

I casually shook her off, when I saw a familiar face Nash.

"I'll catch you later Ash." I said walking away from her and over to Nash.

"well if it isn't the new kid on Campus." I said.

Nash turned and gave me a big smile.

"hey Cam."

I loved how he said it.

"where ya headed."I asked.

"uh pre law." He answered.
"but I'm kinda having a hard time finding the room." He said.

"hey don't sweat it, I'm pretty sure it's actually in the other part of the campus." I said.

He looked confused. "this is the health part of the campus. You should be at the building right next to this one. It has like a huge garden full of tulips in the front, and there's always a bald guy reading a newspaper by the door." I said.

He nodded "okay then, thanks for the help."

"here I'll give you my number just in case you get lost or need anything."

After putting his number in my phone he gave me a smile and a wave and headed off.

"so who's that?" My roommate Aaron said coming up from behind me.

"oh he's a freshman, Nash." I said with a shrug.

"Nash huh, cute." He said.

I felt myself become immediately tense.

"so are you gonna talk to Ashley?" He asked. "she's been bugging me for days asking where you've been, and what's going on."

"I talked to her this morning." I said with a sigh.

"when are you going to cut her off?" He asked.

"what do you mean?" I asked.

"cameron I know your gay." Aaron said.

"what?" I asked playing it off. I absent told Aaron about it.

"I mean you know what they say it takes one to know one, and I know you are dude."

I looked down and chuckled a little of course.

"Ashley doesn't know though does she?" He asked with a worried look.

I shook my head."No."

"you've gotta tell her."

"I know I'm planning on it, but I don't know if I can Aaron she's like madly in love with me."

"that's why the sooner you tell her the better."

"your right."

"I'm gonna get to class, but I won't be home til later tonight."

"why."

"party." He answered before jogging off.

I walked into my medical term class. And took a seat.

My phone buzzed.

Nash: found my class, thx so much for the help!

me: np;)

I slid my phone into my pocket when the professor walked in signaling that class was about to start.
