I looked around the place
It's quite big, not massive, though
It's got royal blue walls along with dozens of dip lights
There were a handful of people discussing, bargaining
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
"How about this Pieter Aertsen's art replica for £1000. A pretty great deal isn't it?" Bid a lady with sophisticated look
I glimpsed away with a lil' bit of curiosity, then turned my gaze straight back again
I scanned the room, right and left, alternately
There were countless of crafts, a bunch of illustrations, a few calligraphies and sculptures, et ceteraBut nothing really captured my eyes that time.
I sighed hopelessly
But anyways, I continued on strolling
until...I saw that captivating work of art
Right in front of me
It's some kind of a revelation
Simple yet extremely dazzling
I paused a second
Whilst tilting my head, I mumbled,
"Really, how much effort did he put into this effortlessly brilliant painting?"
And I heard a voice vaguely spoke,
"Not too little, not too much. Just right."
*********(P.s : And here was the painting) :)
