*Hello I'm Terry the time skip* 100 years later
in the first ten years my mother finally came up with my name, Chazor. I finished my flight and landed beside my mentor and father figure, Ortin. I discovered in the first ten years that his name was Ortin and he was the bright green dragon that spoke to me in my mind. My mother came up beside me when I landed. Her name is Dur. She has a nickname like all dragons. Her is the All Knowing. Ortin's was the Bringer-of-Flames. I'll get my nickname whenever I learn my powers. Every dragon gets to know there powers when they turn 150. That is the maturity age for young dragons in my culture. We always train first though. In my first 50 years, I learned how use my wings in flight and how to properly maneuver in the air to dodge projectiles and balls of fire. In last 50 years I learned combat training. I'm told that our scales are impenetrable to anything other than another dragons claws and teeth. Anyways, in this time period I have grown to be 10 feet tall and I have a 14 foot wingspan. My mother says I am bigger then most of the dragons in my age group. I have learned the ways of our life and our traditions. I think that is all for now.

I've finally learned what my powers are. Even though my powers are the rarest among all the dragons on my planet. I have ice powers. I can only breath it of course, since I am a dragon. But with a lot of practice, we dragons can manipulate it into a storm of sorts if we blow it into the air. Anyways, I met with Ortin outside of the cave where I was told by our ancetors of old. He said, " You must be really special if you have the rarest of powers." We continued walking until we reached out cave system. I the. Bid him goodbye and walked into the cave I shred with my mother, Dur. As soon I stepped into the cave, she came bounding up to me and checking to see if I was alright because I was gone so long. I stopped her and said," I'm fine mother, I just found out that I have ice powers." Her face was priceless her jaw dropped open revealing her teeth, which are pointed and sharp to rip open prey and enemies. She stood there shell shocked for what seemed like eternity and I silently laughed. I told her," You'll catch flies mother, you might want to close your mouth." I looked down on her, my 15 feet height to her 12 foot height. She looked at me and snapped her jaw shut with an audible, pop!, and she started crying. I started freaking out. She then reassured that she was alright,"I'm fine son, don't worry it's just I'm happy because that you were the one to get these powers." I said," Thanks, I guess." For the last ten years, nothing really happened. All the dragon tribes loved in peace, only getting a bit riled up when dragons from other tribes entered their cave system uninvited. All in all it was peaceful. This when I earned my nickname, The Good Hearted.
*terry's back with a vengeance* 40 years later....
I looked up and noticed something strange in the night sky. There was a star that was bigger and brighter than the rest. I knew that this was a close star because I always admired the stars at night. I thought it was just a coincidence so I left it alone and went to sleep. I woke up the next morning and saw a cloudless sky. That's strange, there's always cloud in the sky I thought. Again my mistake I left it alone and went about my daily exercises and getting for some sparing with Ortin. I flew into the sky after stretching my wings a bit and flew to his cave. I landed with a quiet thud. He was waiting for me and walked up to me. "Are you ready to get beat again?" asked me with and amused tone. Our record is 34 to 79, him winning mostly. I had an amused look on my face and replied," Only if your ready to get injured severely." We both laughed and flew into the air. I positioned my self about 30 feet away from him while we were about a 1000 feet in the air. We then flew at each other as fast as we could and that's when we became a blur with claws and teeth. We were 30 minutes into sparring when we separated and we're breathing heavily. I had some cuts and blood on me. He had a few more cuts on him then I did. "Well done, you have become an excellent fighter." After he said that, we felt a shockwave.
I looked up in the sky and saw a black spot dark enough to to blot out any existence in time. Ortin looked at me and said, "Go, find your mother, I will round up the rest of the tribe." I nodded and took off. I reached our cave within minutes and spotted her lying down in the a corner sleeping. I walked to her and shook her with urgency. She looked up with sleepy eyes and asked me," Yes, my son what is it?" I told her what I saw and everything that Ortin was doing. She looked alarmed and we both raced out of the cave. Why did the blackness look closer for? Anyways, we raced to the center of the caves and found Ortin and the rest of the tribe. "We need to do something." someone yelled. Me and Ortin looked at each other and he looked frantic. I told him," the blackness seemed closer when we came here." At that, his eyes noticeably shrank into his skull. "What is wrong?" I asked him. He muttered,"It truly has come to pass." "What's has come to pass?" I shouted at him. He looked at me and said,"The great blackness that has been prophesied to end of all of our kind except for a select few." What does that mean?, I wonder. "People of the tribe, there is nothing we can do about this, we must await our doom with pride and know that we were the last of out generation." Ortin shouted. My mother looked at me with sadness and i know that this will be the end of our time together. "May we find each other in the afterlife, and finally become a family." she says to me. (Now I know this is a bad time to say this but dragons are immortal. All of our kind is. But we aren't gods, we can't come back from the dead. We can heal at an accelerated rate, but if out mind is destroyed, then we cannot heal and will die.) I look at her and shed a tear. "May we find Father to and become a true family. If I live I promise I will never forget you mother." I say to her. She smiles sadly. I walk out into the plains that surround out caves and see that the blackness has covered the whole sky and the ground is breaking apart. I smile sadly because I know this is the end, and only after two hundred years to. I notice the ground is flying into the sky and I see that the gravity of the blackness is picking dragons out of the sky. I dig my claws into the ground and try to stay still but I know it is futile. I see a large rock flying towards me, not big enough to kill me, but surely enough to hurt like my wings being ripped off. It finally hits me and I cough hard and see blood in the ground. I also notice I'm being lifted into the air by the blackness. My last thought before I fade into darkness is, I will miss you mother.
