They went on a date
Together by fate
Strawberries for desert they ate
Then later went to skate
While they were skating
The man was waiting the time
He was awaiting the time
Perfect question during wintertime
He went on one knee
Hoping she wouldn't flee
She smiled in glee
He pulled out a ring
And then stopped everything
As she walked away from the hideous thing.
