Chapter 3
"Now that that's settled.. Lets get to know each other." Cassie smiled, fixing her shirt as she sat down next to Fred.
Fred looked up at the girl in shock "I can't believe you just did that!" He laughed, watching her closely "No one has ever done that.." Cassie winked at him, leaning back in the seat while tipping the imaginary hat on her head
"What? He's a stupid little git that needed to be put in his place!" She shrugged.
Fred smiled to himself, knowing that she was something else, something that he loved "So.. Casandra.. Can I call you Cas?" He asked softly.
Cassie nodded "Sure! As long as I get to call you Fredo!" She giggled, looking up at him with a smile "How many family members do you have?" She asked Fred and George (it's been a while since I wrote so I can't remember if George was in there or not XD)
"Well.. We have one sister named Ginny.. And then there's Bill, Percy, Charlie, Ron, and then Fred!" George smiled "And then mum and dad!" Fred added
Cassie smiled at the two "Thats a lot of people.." She giggled "It used to be me and my dad.. But then he got put into Azkaban." She growled the last part, looking at the ground with clenched fists "I live with my uncle.. Well.. He's an uncle to me." She whispered, looking back up at them.
Fred and George shared a look which meant 'We'll protect her with all our hearts'
-----Hours later----
"What house do you think you'll be sorted into?" George asked
"I'm thinking.. Slytherin.." Cassie smirked
Fred and George looked at the girl in shock "Wait.. What? Why?" They said quickly
"I'm kidding with ya! I'm thinking either Gryffindor or Hufflepuff!" She giggled, walking up to a carriage "I've seen many pictures of this school.." She whispered softly.
Fred got in after her, giving her a little bit of space "You'll love this school.. It has so much history behind it..." George said with a small smile.
Cassie leaned back into the seat, listening to Fred and George talk but not really comprehending what they were saying. She closed her eyes before everything around her disappeared.
"Cassie... Cassie!" Someone whispered, shaking her
"Go away.." She mumbled, curling against a pillow.. Well that's what she thought
"Cassie.. Get up or I'll have to carry you into the school." Another voice said, but his voice was more firmer
Cassie reached up, her eyes still closed "Carry me then!" She giggled, feeling her body be lifted out of it's seat and into a slightly cold air. She opened her eyes and seen red hair "Which one are you?" She giggled looking up at Fred. Or was it George?
"It's Freddy.." He chuckled, looking at her with a smile "George is being a git and said he wanted to walk with Hermione.. I swear they like each other.."
Cassie nuzzled his neck, listening to him talk with a small smile "They probably do.." She shrugged "I can walk you know.." She laughed, looking up at him.
Fred blushed darkly, setting her down and scratching his neck "Well.. I didn't know if you were still tired or not." He shrugged.
Cassie shook her head before taking off in a sprint, glancing over her shoulder at Fred "You'll never catch me!" She laughed, running even faster, knowing that her mind was in over drive 'You can't shift into Goldenfur.. You would scare the whole school.' She thought.
(Goldenfur is her animagus form. She's a lioness)
"How are you running so bloody fast?" Fred shouted, at least 30ft behind her. Cassie let out a loud laugh "I love to run!" She grinned, glancing over her shoulder while she stuck her tongue out at Fred.
---About a half hour later and in the great hall---
"We have a new student and teacher here with us today.. Remus Lupin is gonna be out new Defense against the Dark Arts teacher.. And we have Casandra Lupin Black who is a 6th year." Dumbledore said to all the students, hearing all the gasps at Cassie's last name "Miss. Black.. Would you come up and sit on the stool?" He asked, holding the hat in his hand.
Cassie sat down on the stool, biting her lip and scratching the palm of her left hand as the sorting hat was put on her "Oh.. Sirius Black's daughter.. I've wanted to meet you for some time now." The hat spoke "Well.. You would do go in Slytherin but you're just like your father.. You wouldn't fit in with the Hufflepuff's.." The hat glanced at the last two tables "You've made friends in Gryffindor.. And all your family was there.." Cassie nods "Please.. I want to be with them.." She begged. The hat sighed, before he shouted "GRYFFINDOR!"
Cassie jumped off the stool, running to the Fred and George. George picked her up in a hug and spun her around while she laughed, kissing his cheek. He sat her down and she hugged Fred quickly, sitting down and looking down at all the food "Oh.. My.. God.." She gasped, piling her plate high with food.
