Standing outside of the shop, leaning on the railing while staring at my phone, completely bored with turning into what people call a 'Boyfriend' and be dragged around the shopping mall as I carried all of Sarah's bags.
"Right, I got this - this and this!" looking up I find Sarah with three bag's and a big beaming smile on her face.
Pushing away from the railing I nodded as I took the bag's, "Excellent, where to next?"
"That one!" she yells and run's into the neighbouring store and I went a metre up the railing and turned my attention back to my phone. Concentrating on the game Snake I had put onto my phone I waited for Sarah to come back out. Time ticking by without me even twitching as I focused on my mobile in my hands.
To be honest, I don't necessarily hate shopping, I can do at least three hour's of running about, maybe even going to a book store or a game store, but that's my limit. I can't do more than that, and now we're hitting the seven hour mark with the second floor of the shopping centre, and we still have one more to go. Oh my luck is bloomin' today.
Later:
"I got your message last night, you didn't get mine because you've been calling my for days" I softly sung to myself as I ripped a sugar sachet open and emptied it into my tea - hey, i'm a sugar-aholic, don't judge me.
Putting the lid back on I picked Sarah's bag's up and walked out of the coffee shop and to where I said i'd meet Sarah. Turning the corner I collide with someone instead. The cup of tea basically exploded over the both of us, soaking my shirt as I stumbled back and then landed on my bum.
"I'm so sorry-"
"Don't worry about it, it was basically my fault - hey, you're Jimmy Carr" I stared up at the comedian in shock.
"Oh! And you're Alison Harrison, I was going to get my manager to call you - but I guess I spilt tea on you before i got the chance too" he grab's my hands and pulled me to my feet.
"Call me? Why on earth would you want to call me?"
"Well, you know my show '8 Out Of 10 Cats'?"
"Of course, love the show"
"Brilliant, then would you like to come and... be a guest on the show?" he stood there for a moment, an awkward side no one's really seen before surfacing as I stared at him, while squeezing the tea out of my shirt.
"Sure, i'll give you my number and you can text me the details" he grins at me and I take his phone, wiping my hands on my jeans so I didn't get tea over him and typed my number in, "See you soon Mister Carr!" I hurried away, late (as usual) to meet Sarah, she is defiantly not going to be happy with me.
"I'm here... i'm here, don't worry.... oh" I stared at Sarah as she chats to some bloke, twisting her hair around her finger as she fluttered her eyes and puffed her chest out, "Better reaction than I thought i'd be getting" I beamed, now you'll think that's weird - but ever since her ex cheated on her six months ago she hasn't taken an interest in other guy around, she even stopped fantasizing about Tom Hiddleston and writing those creepy fan fiction abouts him.
"Hey Sarah!" I walked over to her and she smiles at me.
"Ally, this is Jim, Jim Ally"
I frowned for a second... kinda weird that I met Jimmy Carr a few minutes ago and now there's a new Jim - hope this isn't Jim Moriarty - stop Ally, you're fan girl is showing.
"Nice to meet you" I shook the guys hand as he nods.
"Thanks, you too"
After a few minutes of me being the third wheel Ally and Jim swapped numbers and we headed home, "He was so handsome!"
