Black on Black
By SoggyCardboard
Black on black,
Though two shades different,
You don't notice me.
A splash of white,
Is a little bright,
But still can't help you see.
Add some blue,
But nothing changed,
It did not help your sight.
You can't see me,
As clear as day,
Even In this blinding light.
A little yellow,
On the blue,
Just smeared around some green.
You haven't noticed,
All the colors?
You haven't even seen?
A rainbow now,
Full of colors,
And still not seen by you.
All the colors,
Fade away,
And turn a solid blue.
Sitting there,
And waiting,
I turn back to black.
The true colors,
I really am,
Show everything I lack.
Now I know,
No matter what,
You’ll never see.
Black on black,
Though two shades different,
You still don't notice me.
