Beast

Shattering windows, breaking floors,

All walls come crumbling down,

Hide in the shadows,

And try not to make a sound,

You can’t hide forever,

For fear always finds away,

The walls you built to hide your pain,

Will eventually give way,

Time has passed but,

The beast you hold will never die,

The dam has broken, and water floods,

From the crystal sky,

Time is up, so you take your sword,

And try to kill the beast,

With a slash and a couple stabs,

He is finally deceased,

Scarlet liquid flows,

It is all over with,

But fear found you,

It had all been a myth,

Darkness creped over the land,

And the kingdom began to cry,

As you sat and watched,

You couldn’t help but wonder why,

You relished the truth,

The words that was never said,

But it was too late,

The beast was already dead,

The kingdom mourned,

You that they would be filled with glee,

 But you wrong,

And it was too late to filially see.
