Gavin roused slowly his mind numb and reeling. Gavin shifted to see Shane, blood ran down his face as it dripped steadily onto the car roof splattering the layer of broken glass with darkish crimson. Smoke raised slowly from under the cars' hood, Gavin coughed as he got a lung full and began to tug at his seat belt. The seat belt quickly released dropping Gavin painfully to the ground eliciting a groan of pain through his clenched teeth.
Glass crunched as Gavin righted himself and squirmed through the window, laying out on the ground breathing shallowly.
"Plan on staying there?" A voice asked indolently.
Gavin glanced up to see Cayne paying him half-mind as he stared contemptuously at his weapon.
Gavin's brain chugged along slowly,
"..."
The car popped and ticked from the heat, the smoke now darkening.
Cayne frowned,
"Seems rather ineffectual, No?"
Gavin ignored the question while unsteadily rising to his feet, shaking some glass from his jacket
"Be informed that I've come to acquisition your weapons...So I expect compliance"
"What the hell is option two? You have a gun and I don't...I'll comply"
"Well...Good then" Cayne returned his gun to its holster, "I'm glad this can be simple"
A few people had gathered at a distance, Gavin could hear faint murmuring from the collective peoples. Gavin looked at the crowd in disdain, but one face stood out strikingly. A woman stood near the front of the small procession; she was tall with grayish skin and deep blue eyes, her hair was waist-length and a rich shade of black with a vague feather-like texture. The ashen skinned woman was in the same get-up as Cayne but seemed much more at home in the outfit but only sporting a single pistol at her side; she left her tail-coat unbuttoned and her hair unkempt.
Cayne pulled out a small PDA and recorded something while mumbling, "Well...hm...no..."
The woman held Gavin's stare and slowly began to make her way over, She quickly turned to Cayne eyeing him heatedly . Cayne lazily reached under his coat and pulled a large ring from inside and chucked it towards Gavin. The ring immediately broke into two pieces and caught Gavin by the wrists, Gavin stared down in confusion as the two cuffs suddenly magnetized and pulled his hands together harshly.
"You have been placed under arrest by the GGA for crimes against it and it's inhabitants" Cayne droned.
Gavin tried to swallow again but couldn't, his throat had dried completely.
"And due to your actions, I am obligated to ensure your capture and prop-"
"Hello Doriyan," The woman said coolly.
Cayne seemed to stand stunned for a moment, The woman coughed, "Cayne...Doriyan?".
Cayne coughed, "Alyce?".
Alyce nodded, "What is this about?" Alyce gestured towards the car.
"Some people call it, a miscalculation" Cayne sighed.
Alyce smirked striding over to the opposite side of the car, "Some miscalculation" she scoffed.
"It's good to see you are well Alyce" Cayne smiled.
Blood had pooled around the door snaking its way across the road, Alyce stood avoiding the crimson streams and walked back over to Cayne.
"So, you're still working for Kyllan and his associates?" Alyce asked, fixing a stray hair.
