I woke up with cuffs around my wrists and the feeling of motion. Opening up my eyes I realized I was in the back of some sort of van or truck. There was a bench one either side. The chain in between my cuffs was again cuffed to the bar under the seat. On the other bench there were some elite officers who alert and glaring at me as if I'm the reason that the war started and that so many people have died.

They don't even know what I did. They don't know of the sacrifices I had to make. Thanks to me the royal family of the people with powers is still alive. No they believe that I am the reason 57 guards are dead, all of whom I can name. The elites and the power population spare a few think I was part of the strike team that almost raped the princess before she was going to be killed and led the all the people who were part of the small army that attacked the royals. Everyone doesn't understand how THEY tried to break me. How THEY made me just want to end it all.

The van started to slow before it came to a complete stop. The back doors to what I realize now is a prisoner truck open and I can over the elite officers shoulder that we are at Power Academy. Where all good student are taught how to control then use their powers. It brings back bad memories, I used to go to this school, where I met my soul mate. Every Power filled person has a soul mate but not everyone finds theirs or accepts their mate. My mate didn't get a chance to reject or accept me before this all happened so I know what will happen. I will be rejected, my heart will break in two and I will loose the will to live if I don't die in the process.

Trials are held at the academy, someone wants me to stand up to what I have "done wrong" not kill me on sight without a trial. Well it's nice to know that someone cares.

Two of the elite force members slowly came towards me as if I was going to jump up and kill them. 'I'm not going to hurt you,' I said quietly, my head still hung, facing the ground. The men seemed startled. They weren't expecting for me to say something like that or maybe anything at all. The elite officers looked at each other as if to say what's going on? I don't think they understand why I haven't struggled, thrown out death threats or even attempted to get away. I lifted my head and then put my hands out in front of me as far as the chains would allow and spoke again, 'C'mon let's just get this over with.'

Still looking confused, one of the two men unlock the chain that was attached to the bar below the bench, leaving the cuffs around my wrists on. Again it seemed to take a lifetime so I stood up and faced the door Ing the truck. 'Well c'mon let's get going, we don't have all day.' That seems to wake up the elites and they started to take me towards the school.

As the school came into view I noticed that there were many people here to see my trial. Or maybe the king might actually turn up to the trial as he give a vote in the trial that has the most pull. I guess that's a bad thing because the king never like me in the first place but oh well. What can you do?

As I was dragged down the all too familiar hallways I saw the looks people were giving me. I think it was harder for everyone to accept the fact that I had "done these wrongs". I was one of them, one of the finest too and I was supposed to go on to be a leader in the war. Now in their eyes I have failed them.

That I was not their savior.

But a villain.

But that's not true.
