The Threat

I need to become a Nerd! No way I can't do that I just got popular because I joined the football team and got a new Porsche. 

The next day at school

I walked to class with my head down wondering if she will ever like me. 

Meanwhile

Aphmau was as cheery as ever, probably because she just found out that she was going to be showing around the new student Garroth Ro'Meave. Rumor has it his dad is constantly getting drunk and getting into fights. but she didn't know that. I bet he's as bad as his dad.  

As I walked down The aisles of desks he looked at her with a cute little smile, for some reason I just felt a bunch of anger bubble up inside me. I don't know what is going on, but I know that I don't like it.

The next week

Laurance's POV 

"Look I forgot that football tryouts are this Friday after school. " I said to my friend Chase

"I heard that The new kid Ro'Meave was going to try out." He said.

Then out of nowhere I punched My best friend in the face and he ran off screaming. 

Why did I do that you ask because First that stupid Garroth kid steals my girl, and now he is trying to take my place on the football team.

"That kid's gonna get it" I said to him.

After school

Garroth's POV

"Hey" I said to Laurance as he approached me, only he didn't have a smile on his face like I did.

"Hey Ro'Meave," he said to me but it didn't seem to nice. "You want to study for the science test later." He said 

"Sure" I said, but I felt scared inside.

"Great I mean I know how much you like to get good grades." He said in a mean but happy way

"So how bout we study at my house my parents are out of town for the week so we can eat as much celery as we want" 

"Yay" he said but I don't think he was as happy as I was.

"Hey maybe we could Invite Aph" I said.

No one's POV

Suddenly 

Laurance slammed Garroth against the lockers and repeatedly punched him in the face.

He kept punching and punching and wouldn't stop. Aphmau came out of the classroom when she heard screaming. When she saw Garroth on the ground in pain she quickly rushed over and tried to stop the beating. Then when Laurance saw Aphmau he quickly stopped hitting Garroth. 

Aphmau ran over and started helping garroth up, but right when Laurance saw what she was doing he quickly picked her up and slammed her into the lockers behind her and started grabbing her face and he pulled it towards his and... and... and... Kissed her as fast and as hard as he possibly could. she tried to stop him but she couldn't he was to strong. When he finally started to calm down she realized how soft and warm his lips were and kissed him back. It was a long, sweet, and passionate kiss. When Garroth saw them he got up and ran home as fast as he could. 

He felt so embarrassed. He wanted to move away again. He heard his dad coming up the stairs. Garroth realized that if his dad saw him he would get beat again and he already felt bad enough. 

After hearing his dad falling as he was walking up the stairs he realized he had to jump out of the window to be able to escape from his dad.

Garroth's POV

Suddenly everything went black, when I woke up I was strapped to a hospital bed with a full body cast on. At least this was better than getting beat by my father. 

I looked around to see if he was here. If you weren't sure "he" was my dad. if he saw me right now I would be dead because this would take money away from his beer fund or my stupid brothers college fund. By the way my brother would need a lot of money to get into college because he wants to go to harvard, and that kid definitely ain't getting no scholarship.

When I looked at the door to see if he was coming I saw Aphmau there. Could it really be her???? Or was I just hallucinating. When she new I saw her she started walking towards me and gave me a big really tight hug. I told her that I would hug her back but.. I'm kinda in a whole body cast. 

Then all of the sudden she leaned in and, and, and,

Hey guys I'm pretty sure you can go ahead and guess what is going to happen in the next chapter. I am so sorry that I haven't updated in awhile but now I have. I will try to update as much as I possibly can and by the way listen to meghan trainor's new song "Me Too". It is so amazing. But I hope you guys like my chapter. Oh and by the way I am making a book series and the third one might involve travis a little bit so be prepared for some romance, yay.
