Hermione

I woke up because I was being shaken roughly. It would have been twice as bad as any obnoxious alarm clock until I opened my eyes and saw who was doing the shaking.

"Wake up, Granger," he whispered.

"What in hell could you possibly need at-" I paused. "What time is it?"

He grinned, a sight that made my heart flutter. Stop it, I scolded.

"First date time!" He said, in a voice that was far too cheerful for any moment in time when it was still dark outside my window.
I glared at him.

"How about no?"
I flipped onto my stomach and yanked my pillow over my head. He promptly yanked it back. I pulled the sheets completely over myself in retaliation. He yanked those off too, laughing all the while.

"You can't refuse our first date, you know. You can't turn me down after everything. We're going, if I have to carry you there."

I mock gasped. "Watch me, it's easy, see? No."

And then the little bastard pulled my hair right out of its bun. I felt my hair unravel into all of its messiness. That was the last straw.

Furious, I groped for my wand on my bedside table. The wood of the table was smooth under my fingers but wandless. I sat straight up when it wasn't there and turned the lights on purely with mind power. That's right. My anger fuels my lamp.

Draco Malfoy stood there in all his pajama-clad glory, innocently twirling my wand between his fingers. I frowned at him, stretching my hand out. "Give it."

He took a few steps back toward my door. "You want it?"

"Obviously. How else am I supposed to hex you?" I asked him irately.

He smirked. "I'm assuming that's rhetorical since you love me," he said smugly. I rolled my eyes. "And if you want it, you're going to having to come and get it yourself."

I groaned and rolled out of bed. "It's cold," I whined.
"Well, if you come with me you'll be warm." He responded.

He reached his hand out to me, and I took it reluctantly. It felt like giving up. I didn't like giving up, so I snatched my hand back and crossed my arms over my chest, stomping after him like a five year-old. He shrugged it off and kept walking. I followed him out of my room, down the stairs, through the common room, out of the portrait hole, down the corridor (ignoring Snape's complaints and gripes), and Draco ignoring mine, all the way to the Great Hall. We stopped outside the enormous closed doors. I was suddenly very aware of how little clothing I had on. I only had my red pajama shorts and a light blue long-sleeved shirt.

I ignored the chill and focused on Draco. He had a smile on his face that could light up the whole room. I just stared at him.
"Why am I here?" I asked I patiently, shifting from foot to foot, arms still crossed over my chest.
Draco pushed the doors open wide and I gasped.

Candles hung from the ceiling and were scattered about the floor. Two of the long tables had been pushed to the sides, making room in the middle. The other two had been pushed together, and two sleeping bags were opened and spread out on the middle of them. The thing that stood out the most, however, was the sky. Of course, it wasn't really the sky, it was just bewitched to look that way. The moon glistened brightly among the shining stars in the overcast sky.

I stared up at the ceiling for what felt like and eternity until I felt Draco slip a hand around my waist and draw me in close to him. My shirt slid up a little bit and his touch on my skin built a ball of fire in my stomach. He took my hand and lead me into the Great Hall.
