Gigi-
It's been a few weeks since I've moved here.  I've made lots of friends, especially Shawn's friends' girlfriends.

Abby and Janice.  They're sweethearts and I've grown super close to them. They even love talking to my best friend Emelen, and she the same.

I quickly pushed back the covers and ran into my bathroom.

I brushed my teeth, then stripped and got into the shower.

After about a 5 minute shower,  I walked out drying myself and applying lotion, picking out my clothes for the day.

I slipped into my jeans and t-shirt, slipping a jacket over, since it's almost always chilly outside.

I brushed my hair and twisted a strand, bobby pinning it to the side of my head and leaving the rest down.

Applying some Chapstick, I quickly grabbed my bag and skipped down the stairs.

"Morning honey," My mom greeted me, while my dad looked up from the newspaper and smiled.

"Have some hash browns, your favorite."  My dad said, smiling because my parents always teased me about loving hash browns.

I shook my head at them and grabbed a plate, stacking a few hash browns.

"So have you guys found any club soccer or softball teams I can play for?" I asked, my mouth full of a huge bite I took of a hash brown.

"Yes, I've checked a few teams in the area and they've been willing to see you try out. Mostly soccer, softball isn't in season right now." My mom replies.

"Yes!!!" I yell.

My parents laugh and my mom tells me try outs are next week.

I nod, finishing my breakfast and putting my on my white adidas and grabbing my phone.

My mom drops me off at school and I walk in, scanning the halls for my friends.

I get a text from Shawn.

Shen 😇💛- "are you at school yet?"

Me- "ye, where are you guys?"

Shen 😇💛 - "bleachers, hurry up 😂"

I laugh at the contact name I have for him. He hates it, but only allows me to call him that.

I make my way over to the bleachers and see Shawn, Ryan, Abby, Zach, and Janice.

They see me and smile, while Shawn waves like an idiot.

Gosh he's so great.

"Hi guys!" I say taking a seat next to Ryan and Abby, who are wrapped around each other.

"Hi Shen. " I say, giggling at his pouting face.

He sits next to me and plays with a strand of my hair, "You know I hate that name."

I laugh, "That's why only I can call you that."
